New Owners Have Worked Out The Kinks

With the previous owners, the uniqueness of the place was one part creative dishes, one part fresh, quality food, and one part attitude. Initially, with the new owners, these had slipped, but after a couple of visits, I'm happy to report that its now once again a landmark, a real find, and... read more

Initially, with the new owners, these had slipped, but after a couple of visits, I'm happy to report that its now once again a landmark, a real find, and certainly one of a kind. Saw an article and thought we'd try it for breakfast. Not a good idea. I ordered pork tacos and when I got them the plate was full of juice so of course my tacos were soaking wet. My husband had a skillet meal and the broccoli was raw and the eggs were rubbery. No butter on the very lightly toasted... More

I ordered the day's special which was a wild mushroom omelet with a salad. The omelet was tiny, greasy, and pretty plain and boring, and the side salad consisted of three small tufts of raw kale. No dressing, no other vegetables, nothing. When I asked for dressing for the "salad," they gave me a container of oil with maybe a... More

Have been a regular here for breakfast over the last few years and have sent countless people to this joint when they are asking for a good breakfast spot (I work part time in service industry so get these questions all the time). The last breakfast I had here was close to awful and was surprised they plated and served... More

Excellent cooked breakfast -- many varieties. Old pharmacy atmosphere is quaint. Many choices of coffees and teas also.

If you are vegan or like the organic then Boynton-McKay may be just the right place for you to get breakfast or lunch. Home style alternative menu is a favorite among many of the locals and visitors.

We have always liked Boynton-McKay and its handsome, old-fashioned interior, little changed when it was the main downtown Camden pharmacy and soda fountain. Every Saturday my wife and I, Camden residents, eat breakfast somewhere downtown. Because B-McK. is so popular with the young singles crowd, we only eat there if we arrive just after their opening at 7:00 AM. Otherwise... More

Wonderful coffee. Best in Camden. Great character. Low key. Vibrant. Low key. Delicious. What else is there?
