Awesome breakfast!

I had a skillet breakfast here back in October on the way to Bar Harbor. It was delicious! I chose the option with veggies, omelet, and home fries plus toast. The price wasn't too high, from what I can recall. I felt full for the rest of my trip. I like how the service works, it's a bit like... read more

A locals favorite for coffee, conversation, or wonderful breakfast and luncheon entrees. Don't miss out on the huevos rancheros or the breakfast wrap. Pastries are also fresh and very reasonably priced.

This place was mobbed with locals which was an indication of the food and it was a great place to have lunch, fun menu with fair prices.

Came here for breakfast with my Mum who is a seasoned veteran. The rye toast was amazing, if my taste buds served me correctly, it had flecks of rosemary and roasted red onions in it. Just delicious. The eggs and homefries were good too, pretty run of the mill, but good. The coffee was very good, full bodied, not watered... More

Great place to stop for morning coffee. Many varieties of coffee and great fresh baked goods. A spot to meet the locals and find out what is happening in town!

We'd read the reviews on Tripadvisor and weren't disappointed. Their breakfasts are very good and reasonably priced. They do a Maine interpretation of Huevos Rancheros, so don't expect what you'd get in Santa Fe or Taos, but the eggs are fresh and the presentation is creative. You wait for a table, then place your order at the back and pour... More

Joint with a funky vibe, but the food is merely OK. I agree with another review about the pancakes being gummy. I would rate the eggs as fine but nothing special. Service is a bit on the slow side for me but others might rate it as a relaxing place to have breakfast while deciding on the day's activities.

Find a table, leave your cap on it and walk to the kitchen in the back to order. Enjoy the best buckwheat waffle with fresh fruit (special of the day when we visited -- chef's wife Molly' birthday). Bus your own table and feel like a local. Sip a cappuccino to deflect the morning chill. Husband preferred the crisp biscotti... More

Yes, it's not as good as it once was (new owners took over this past Spring) but I can still recommend it. For breakfast. With reservations. The skillet breakfast is perfect and perfectly satisfying. And, when the kitchen, sadly very rarely, makes corn bread, it's my favorite way to spend Sunday. Now for the bad - my dining companion was... More
