I wrote a favorable review of Mediterranean Cafe after a meal there last year. My wife and I had a good meal there-- it was a simple, unpretentious place that gave us a dinner on a night we were hungry for something other than fried seafood. However, Med Cafe is now closed and has been replaced by "Comida", a new... More

Great service along with delicious food describes our experience at the Mediterranean cafe. We had the sampler appetizer which was enough for a full meal! I had the mussells AMD my hubby had the gyro. It was superb.

Our first night in Camden we debated between the Mediterranean Cafe (MC) or the nearby Long Grain. It was 8:15 PM before we finally made it to town, and unfortunately, the MC was closed for the night. So, we went to the Long Grain, where we waited 15 minutes before being seated. You can see my review of the Long... More

Great Mediterranean and Greek offerings. I had the felafel plate for dinner and it was great. The small number of tables give the restaurant a cozy feeling. Be sure to make reservations!

The proper name of this restaurant is Cafe Mediterranean. We had a large breakfast, but in the late afternoon we decided we were in need of bit of sustenance. We stopped in and ordered a beef gyro to share. The gyro was good sized and the ingredients very fresh. Our waitress gave each of us a container of Tzatziki sauce... More

We went here twice during our two day stay in Camden. We are a ovo-lacto vegetarian couple. The food was very good, and the falafel was the best I've ever had. The service was slow, but I was not short on time. A relaxing, inexpensive, and totally delicious meal both times.

Top notch southern Med/Greek/Morrocan albeit in an incredibly casual atmosphere that is comfortable for lunch but not so for dinner unless you either sit in the courtyard or don't mind being in a small, 19th c. Storefront. Service is painfully slow, so plan for plenty of time...the food is well worth the wait.

A nice change from typical Maine fare, had a charming lunch on the patio. Yummy lentils, unlike any I've had before and my boyfriend loved the seafood kebabs. Our server was friendly and very nice about us lingering with our beers, soaking up the sun on their deck, long after our meal. Was my first time there and can't wait... More

I have been to the cafe and loved the food, I wanted to bring my friend there this summer and did so. After sitting for few minutes the waitress greeted us by saying the kitchen is slow and there is going to be a bit of a wait. That was fine, but could we have drinks? We got drinks a... More

Chicken and meatballs way overcooked and dry. Hummis awful (you need to chop the garlic). Baklava dry and low on honey. Servers need to trained to 1) offer deserts before presenting the bill and 2) to clear the dishes when the customers finish eating. Go elsewhere. .
