We had lunch here after a long day out hiking around Mt. Battie. It was excellent, just what we wanted. We each had lobster rolls, fries and rings, all were fresh and prepared with a smile. We sat outside in their seating area and was a nice all around lunch. Highly recommend it for a nice meal.

I ate here this past summer with my family and the seafood was so NOT fresh that I don't ever want to go back and spend my money there. There's plenty of places where you can get fresh seafood for the same price. How can you serve the fish that you serve ? There are so many opportunities to serve... More

I wouldn't have known about this place if it wasn't for TripAdvisor, and I am so glad that I found out!! About a 5 minute walk from the entrance to the Camden State Park, the stand doesn't look like much. Don't let the outside fool you!! Wonderful, fresh, homemade food is found here. I had a lobster roll and my... More

This unassuming little take out stand is worth remembering. We had crab rolls -- a generous portion of sweet meat packed into a hot dog roll, with a slice of lemon on the side. A bargain at less than $10. Tasty homemade onion rings were a good choice as a side. I also appreciated the delicious cole slaw, a staple... More

From the road, this takeout stand doesn't look like much. Don't let the rustic appearance fool you, they serve food which is fresh, tasty, and homemade served with pride and genuine concern for their customers. We had corn chowder, fish and chips. Food is reasonable, many choices for a picnic at the Camden State Park. Does have limited seating outside,... More

I can't imagine that it would be possible to get fresher, tastier seafood than what we had today at this roadside stand. From the road you might imagine that it serves ordinary food, haphazardly prepared, like most other take out places. But the clam rolls we had for lunch were the best ones I've ever had. And the quality doesn't... More

This little roadside take out is one we would easily have passed by. Don't make that mistake. The fish and chips, simply awesome as is the clam chowder, both were served in generous portions. The owner and son are attentive and very outgoing. There is some seating available out back/on the side where you can enjoy a break in your... More

stopped by on our way home from visiting relatives in Maine just to have ice cream, and the owner and his son were absolutely delightful. It was as if we were old friends. They filled us in on all the local places we should visit. And the ice cream was delicious. Other guest who stopped why we were chatting had... More

We got a lobster roll and crab roll to go and then drove up Mount Battie to eat our lunch on the summit. Food was tasty and good value (lots of lobster and lots of crab). Service was fast and friendly. If you're near Mount Battie around lunch time, I highly recommend grabbing lunch to go here to enjoy up... More

assuming you do go up to the top of Mount Battie if you are in the area (because if you don't, you are being silly, and you should), this is the perfect lunch spot. Driving south, this little place will be on your left, about 30 seconds drive after turning right to leave mount Battie Park (this is important, because... More
