This tiny little cafe offers unexpected litter gems like a french soda or a vegan Scottish oat bar.Everything we tried was just great and the young girl tending the shop was so very polite and full of smiles that it brightened our rainy gloom filled day.

I love Zoot SO much. I'm not sure why some of the reviews are saying the owner is off-putting, she is super nice and friendly! Zoot is the best coffee shop in the midcoast area –– the mochas aren't sickeningly sweet, there's good service, the coffee is delicious, and the atmosphere suits anything from a coffee with friends to writing... A great location for relaxing with a delicious cup of coffee and for watching the world go by. A small, friendly place. As others have mentioned, there is a decidedly "Granola Vibe" about the place, but it didn't bother me. I didn't partake of the baked goods offerings, which seemed designed mostly for folks on special diets.

We stopped in for some espresso, tea and a muffin. The espresso was delicious but the main reason we stopped in is because we heard that they had gluten free options. They had plenty of unique items to choose from. We tried the brown rice blueberry muffin, and it was nice and moist and flavorful.

We stopped here en route to Bar Harbor and were pleasantly surprised. People looked happy, meeting, reading, and chatting and the atmosphere was sunny and comfortable. Members of our group enjoyed both brown rice flour blueberry muffins and Zoot toast (although weirdly, they were out of butter...) with the delicious coffee and hazelnut steamers (hot frothy flavored milk).

Small and a bit slow but very, very good coffee drinks and pastries. Nice atmosphere and relaxing spot amid the chaos of Camden. We stop here several times a year as we drive through this area.

The owner of Zoot, Sondra, is friendly when she wants to be and if you're not a bleeding Democrat, your presence is tolerated at best. We have been several times and this is how she consistently behaves. She doesn't post her prices for coffee so you will rarely pay the same price for the same cup of coffee. The last... More

Always a great stop! The coffee is great, very close to town. It's nice to sit and read in the mornings.

There's a reason this place is always busy. I am a mocha fan and they know how to make it perfect. Not too sweet, just right. I haven't tried much of the food, but I will give the coffee 5 stars.

Nice little coffee shop with good frappes and teas and snacks. On Elm. Next door to Stonewall kitchens, news papers, quiet. Not a starvucks and that is a good thing!
