Description: Located in the century-old Knox Mill, our bistro is situated on top of the Megunticook River, just between the two waterfalls. At Brevetto, our modern Italian bistro cuisine is designed to pair perfectly with our extensive– and almost exclusively Italian– wine list. Brevetto is Italian for “patent,” and throughout the restaurant you will find turn-of-the-century schematics of wine presses and odd, out-dated food machines. In stark contrast to the complicated workings of a “salami washing machine,” our menu is simple and straightforward. We feature a large menu with a range of grilled pizzas, Italian pastas, and a variety of entrées. In addition to our extensive wine list, we also have a full bar with artisan draft beers and liquors. Enjoy your dinner in our inviting dining room, or on our waterfront deck. Relax with an obscure Italian red wine at our bar, or an extra-dry gin martini on the leather sofa. Brevetto has some of the best of both worlds, right in downtown Camden.

We both got pasta dishes and they were delicious. The pasta here is fresh and you can definitely tell the difference. Some of the other reviews mention bad service, but we thought the service was really good. We went on a Sunday night around 5:30/6:00 pm. I was afraid the waitress would forget about us since we were seated in... More

I am a big fan of their nightly happy hour featuring 1/2 priced drinks and $5 appetizers. Featured drinks are creative and well executed as was the apps. We stopped in twice during our 3 day visit to the Camden area. On the first night I ordered a Moscow Mule from the same bartender as 2 years ago, but it... More

We had a very disappointing experience. We picked 40 paper because it looked cool from the outside and when we went in, it was even cooler. Great décor. We asked if we could be seated, after seeing at least 5 open tables for our group of 4. The host said we can seat you in a half hour. OK, that... More

Located in a large office building, it’s entrance is through an outside orange door to the right of the main building entrance. Free parking in the lot across the street. There is a definite contemporary décor and atmosphere inside. They offer many unusual mixed drink cocktails and several (~8) craft beers on tap. The hanger steak with asparagus and mushroom... More

Walked in for dinner, no Rez, sat at bar table, they said no tables for an hour, yet tables sat uncleaned for an hour. Our waiter was a young man with glasses, he works the bar area. This guy was just about the snotiest and made us to feel like we were a burden consistency throughout our dinner. On top... More

This restaurant had the lighting down just right. It had a good romantic night life feel. Flatbread pizza was spot on and some great drinks and high end local beer choices. Staff efficient one or two seemed too cool for school. (dude you are not in NYC, chill :) So if you head to Paper, dress nice and not in... More

1/2 price happy hour, drinks (moscow mule and cilantro margaritas two thumbs up) and flat bread pizzas hit the spot. Good first stop!

Truly excellent food. We had minestrone, and two different (veggie) pastas; strong flavors, fresh ingredients, attractive presentation. Delightful, nice decor, and good service. And terrific pannacotta with grilled peaches. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

We were very grateful for the recommendation of friends once we were seated and the owner of Forty Paper greeted us and explained his passion for authentic Italian cuisine. We were even more impressed when he treated us to a small pizza "just so we could taste it" before our appetizer. The pasta was remarkable and exactly as it should... More

Maybe if we'd had a crafted cocktail or a special beer we would have felt differently.... We had wine, which was fine and the artichoke appetizer was very very good as was the bread and butter-like mixture that came with it. The flatbread was tasty but ordinary and the carbonara was ok. The service was just ok as well. The... More
