The Village Restaurant was sold to Cappy's last year. Please update Trip Advisor information. I do not know what else to say,

This is, without a doubt, the worst meal I ever had. For an appetizer we ordered their version of the blooming onion. What we got had raw flour on it and wasn't even close to being done. We both ordered fish and chips and they were clearly microwaved frozen food. No taste, no heat, nothing. Big surprise that no one... More

I enjoyed the ambiance; friendly professional service, quality of the food, and the reasonable prices at this midcoast casual restaurant!

I have been coming here since I was a kid. It has changed a lot over the years, and it is still the best restaurant in Camden.

When the service staff are hoovering the floor around your feet as you dine, so that they can knock off as you put your fork down, it says it all really.... I'm sorry ladies, I am sure that you are very nice and have had a busy day, but that aint good enough. The service dove tailed nicely with the... More

New England is blessed with such a bounty of seafood, yet it's so difficult to find a restaurant there that can cook it well. It is usually baked, broiled, or fried. Baking and broiling yields a tasteless entree. Frying is tastier, but I try not to eat fried foods. This restaurant serves average New England fair, and like the majority... More

Arrived just before 8pm and it was the only restaurant in town still open. We had a nice meal with really good service. No complaints, but learned that we'd have to get to dinner earlier it we wanted a choice.

I had my brother and sister in law visit us this weekend and decided to show them some of the sights down on the coast. On our way through Camden we decided to eat at the Village restaurant. The view from inside the restaurant was nice and the waitress was pleasant, however the food was poor. The biscuits we had... More

I am sorry your visit to the restaurant was not satisfactory. We make every effort to provide our customers with a quality dining experience. Even so there are times when we ,as does everybody at some time or another, goof up. Your initial order was one of these times. The hamburger was not done as ordered and the crab cakes... More
