Enjoy the Jazz

We love to go on Friday nights when the Elm Street Grill has a jazz band. Food is fine, waitstaff is friendly. Mostly local folks.

It is hard to know how to rate Elm Street Grille. After checking into our room at Cedar Crest Inn (Awesome Inn, by the way), we walked through the parking lot to the Grille. They were out of both steaks and lobster, but had a fairly limited menu. Since we were not impressed by the remainder of their menu, we... More

We often visit the Grille for pizza throughout the year - very good pizza for this area. While the inside dining room is a little old-fashioned (has been updated), the screened-in porch is a nice place to eat. Live jazz on certain days can be enjoyable.

Had dinner here while staying at the Cedar Crest Inn. The fresh haddock dinner was very good and was served with salad and rolls. Not too crowded the night we were there but I hear it is very popular with the locals.

Part of the Cedar Crest Inn, the Elm Street Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. I did not try it for dinner, but my wife and I did eat there two mornings (I was staying up the street at another inn). Since I was not staying at the CCI, I can’t vouch for the inn’s included breakfast buffet. For... More

Small, local restaurant serving great seafood, comfort food, and with a good bar. Nice informal, atmosphere. Great breakfasts! Also, handled a large group function well (60 people) when needed. A regular stop for us.

Decent dinner and nice beer selection. Food was good but nothing to rave about. I had lobster which I liked and blueberry pie for desert which could be improved. We were hungry and it was getting late so we didn't search around much for other options.

Arriving to the Cedar Crest Inn we were pleased to find the Elm Street Grille on site. We wanted a light supper and something different to the fabulous seafood we'd been eating for most of our holiday. The bbq chicken pizza was great, with a thin and crispy base washed down with a deliciously cold Shipyard summer ale. The only... More

Breakfast both mornings of our stay was delicious. The waitstaff was wonderful, they treated us like family and were exceptionally welcoming to us and our young child.
