Michael and Mary Jo run a first class B & B and restaurant. It is the best is Camden by far!!! Their included breakfasts are always different, interesting and delicious. Whether you are staying there or not you can come for dinner. It is worth every penny. This is true world class dining at a reasonable price for fine dining.... More

By any standard , this is a superb meal. My wife tried the 5 course tasters choice at a fixed price. The entree was pork cutlet prepared to virtually melt in your mouth.I ordered an entree of pasta with chicken and shrimp and could not finish because it was delicious but filling. Also I sampled each of her courses including... More

Both the setting and the food are top notch. The chef is incredibly talented. I love the fixed menu, but if you don't want to try that, they now offer other options. This is a definite destination if you like good food and a relaxed, peaceful setting.

Eight adult family members stayed in this 5 bedroom colonial home. Lovely place. One major problem which was not mentioned to us when we booked...4 upstairs bedrooms were connected in a way that meant either going into another bedroom to get to yours or being in the bedroom that someone needed to pass thru to get in or out.

I'm a retired New Jerey Superior Court judge, spending my time searching for fine food and pleasurable experiences. Michael Salmon and Mary Jo made my first visit to Maine one of the best of both, with their warm hospitality and superb cuisine. From stuffed ravioli, to tender lobster, to the legendary desert souffle, the dinner at their Inn tops my... More

What a delightful treat! Four of us visited the Hartstone Inn in August for my birthday dinner. I had the chef's prix fixe tasting menu and the others ate a la carte. The food was superb, along with the very attentive service, which included a few courtesies related to the birthday, of which they were aware. Even the chef came... More
