This place is simply remarkable. My wife and I loved every inch of it, every morsel we downed, and every time we spoke with staff. The food is world class, including their special drinks. Breakfast? You'll never find one again as fabulous. We had the Chef's tasting menu at night, and it filled... read more

The most accommodating place I have ever stayed a must get-a-way for couples of any age. A bed and breakfast that you have been looking for. Chef owned means particular attention is paid to the food also. The whole staff is great, smiles on all.

Great food, attention to detail, very clean, interns give it an international flavor. Enjoyed our suite in their hideaway across the street from the main building.

Five of us on the last Friday evening of April....wine list is excellent and fairly priced...bread and butter was excellent and complimentary..Caesar salad superb and the mushroom soup was heavenly...menu is limited to four entrees which means to me that each one is very special..there were a few bumps in the road...my steak was superb...the cod was undercooked...three diners had... What a great surprise to use a Christmas GROUPON for a weekend stay and experience a gourmet breakfast and dinner bonus with the beautiful lodging! I am an independent travel agent and had wanted to see Camden up close and when we finally got away we were right in the heart of it with true HOSPITALITY. Beautiful, old style rooms,... More

We don't eat here frequently, or at least not frequently enough, but it's always a special night out when we do. Our last visit was with the keynote speaker at the annual Camden Conference on Foreign Affairs, a man who eats in some of the better restaurants of Washington, New York, and Europe, and he was very impressed with the... We hadn't been to Hartstone Inn for 15 years. The "competition" in Camden is great -- it's one of the reasons why we visit the community every year. So we decided to try it again and found an unbelievable experience. The food is superb. A limited but highly diverse and inviting menu. Beautifully prepared and served dishes. And a gorgeous,... This was by far the worst dinner we have had in Camden. Went here because it was rated #1 in Camden. Not in a long shot! Charge a 18 1/2% tip on top of a very expensive menu. Had the Lobster Tail.... can get much better in a dinner. Lamb chops very small and overdone. Risotto for $11 for an... More

Spent the past weekend at the Hartstone Inn and had an excellent stay. The breakfast each morning was perfect and the 5 course dinner was outstanding.
