An absolutely delightful little place with fantastic food! Loved every bite. Their set 5 course special offers a little taste of several items and a fantastic entrée.

We stayed a couple of nights at this Inn. We had 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner. The food is truly excellent. The presentation is artsy. The flavors are spectacular and the service is superb. Prices are really not that bad....you would pay a lot more money for such fine dining in a city like Boston or New York.

The Chef's Tasting menu at The Hartstone was the finest culinary experience my wife and I have had in a year or more.

Beware the dinner package, prices are NOT for two people. The food is amazing, but for over 100$ a person on the tasting menu, it is too rich for my blood.I and my fiance thought the price of the dine and stay package was for two people only to be stunned when we got the large bill. The rooms are very small.The... What a charming place to spend some time. This was our 2nd visit to the Hartstone. Every attention to detail has been thought of. Each room is different and though our first stay we liked the room better, this was more economical and just as wonderful. The staff through the afternoon were polite and friendly. Enjoyed cocktail hour in the... More

Reviewed this favorably a year ago, and wanted to say that it is still a great dining destination. It is also a cut above for the money. The attention to detail (why more restaurants don't use a wine aerator for a newly-opened bottle of wine is a mystery) and the quality of the food made it our favorite stop all... More

We had a very amazing birthday dinner with great 5 course tasters menu. We had reserved for 4 people originally but needed to increase to include 5. The phone contact assured us that they could easily handle that. When we arrived we had a great all around experience. The food ordered was so well presented with the best of every... More

The last time we ate here it was a prix fixe menu, and was a little too much for me. I enjoyed it better this time, as we were able to share an appetizer and desert if we desired. The meal was plenty, so just one desert was perfect. The food was amazing, and the service perfect.

We took the package deal which included a night at the Inn and the chef's tasting menu for dinner. The room was very nice and the atmosphere of the whole inn was lovely. Liked meeting new people during the happy hours and the staff were all gracious and helpful. The meal we had was cooked to perfection. My only complaint... More

We had great gourmet meal there in the middle of a very cold snowy winters night. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very romantic.
