First Stop Donuts!

This is always our first stop after crossing the border into Calais. Every trip we stop here to get pink donuts and coffee. They are so fresh and the icing so gooey and soft just cant resist. The staff are always so friendly and nice even gave us a calendar this time. We also go for a breakfast... read more

Whenever you go into the northeast, you will be bombarded by Dunkin Donuts. I'm strong, but after seeing dozens of these shops, I had to stop and eat a donut! It was awesome! Beautiful little town near the border of Maine and New Brunswick, Canada.

This Dunkin Donuts just doesn't seem up to par with the other Dunkins I have been in. Their bakery assortment is not what I expect of DD's. It's just average, perhaps now that Tim Hortons is in town they will pick up their slack. The sandwiches they sell look nothing like the photos and descriptions they have posted in the... More

Typical DD in every way EXCEPT... our poor dog gets so disappointed at every visit! Why can't they share a munchkin with pets going through the drive-through? Cheap-cheap-cheap. Other DDs do this and even talk to our friendly guy. This goes a long way to a pet lover's pocket $$ and it's so simple.

Typical donut shop - Stopped in on our way back to Canada, the service here was good, but in my opinion, the regular coffee is terrible, the new dark roast is about the best they offer. Also enjoyed a Pumpkin donut with my coffee.

Always great service and nice employees, however, if you're looking for a cup of coffee for the ride home, don't bother. Only doughnut shop I know that closes at 8:00pm on the dot! It's too bad, the Tim Horton's that is due to open up in Calais soon will likely cut into their business.

Some people don't know what a plain jelly doughnut is. It has to have a specific "jelly" ie: blueberry, raspberry, lemon, etc. But Dunkin Donuts knows! And when the jelly doughnuts are fresh they can't be beat. I think the jelly is part raspberry and part apple...a lovely combination. And I've heard when they are eaten on Thursdays there are... This is a typical Dunkin Donuts, which is not a negative remark at all. This is a smaller Dunkin Donuts in a smaller city, but you can expect to find all of your favorite Dunkin Donuts products here. Light lunches available. Staff is friendly, service is good, prices are reasonable. Located within minutes of any point in downtown Calais Easy... More

I love this DD. I am so fussy about my ice coffee but the staff here always makes sure I am 100% happy. The staff are all very nice and well trained. I will continue to get my ice coffee here.

Another awful result of going on a USA road trip...Becoming addicted to things that we don't have in Canada... We drove to the drive thru and were reading the menu board with the intent of ordering one coffee (for hubby) and then heading for McDonalds for a snack/restroom break before driving to Bangor. But then I spotted the grilled cheese... More
