It was ok

Just ate here for lunch. Love the restored mill spaces you can find in Maine and I think it was a nice view but we were far from a window. We ordered a hamburg with bacon, cheese, lettuce and tomato. I thought it was a bit pricey at $14.50. We asked for medium, which I consider pink. The order... read more

My kids and I met my parents here for dinner and other than it being a little loud for the older folks, it was great fun. Service was pleasant, the lobster roll was great. What beat all, though, as the fact that my dad could take my kids outside to the bridge to look at the river while we waited... More

this place has really improved in all areas in the last 5 years. drinks are always spot on. menu has developed into a great balance of creativity and selection. I've been in several times a year and the service has always been attentive and friendly. I would go in more if they brought back brunch.

I love that this restaurant goes to the trouble of making dishes without sugar, and uses local sources for its meals. They also offer gluten free and vegetarian options. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we are particular. The service was excellent. I would describe the menu as enlightened and creative. This is a great place to have a meal... More

We went to eat after seeing the movie Selma. We got there about 7pm on a Friday night we had not made a resvervation but I was surprised to be told that there would be a 20 min wait. We decided to eat at the bar I had pumpkin ravioli it was very good a little too much oil for... More

We had the great opportunity to experience this restaurant and highly recommend it if you are willing to try something different. We started out with a small serving of the vegetarian nachos. This appetizer comes in two sizes and the small size was enough for us to share. It's a bit on the spicy side but the combination of mango,... More

We've been fans of Frontier since they opened originally, and have enjoyed many meals, drinks and events here over the years. Although I love the space (can't beat it) I'm not a fan of the new menu, and the last time we visited was disappointing. We waited quite a while for drink service, and generally our server was not quick... More

This restaurant is located in an old fort on the river. The food and service were excellent. Had good beers on draft. The menu was vegetarian friendly. Really enjoyed the lobster rolls.

We went here twice during our recent trip, even though it was 1/2 hour from where we were staying. My son's girlfriend, who is vegetarian, was thrilled to find a restaurant where vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters all could have great meals. On our first visit my husband had a pork chop in a cherry reduction, and it was just... More

Local art, creative cocktails, cinema and excellent food combine to make Frontier one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Their commitment to local and sustainable is evident and also commendable.
