Frontier is a blend of art and culture and food. The art and culture is nice, but we go for the food. Last night we appreciated the art; but the food, not as much as in the past. I ordered 2 tacos; one pulled pork which was very good, and one jerk chicken, which was 2 charred pieces of meat... More

The waitstaff - outstanding... The Bartenders love what they do and we know it every time we indulge... The Chefs have a lot of fun in the kitchen... Every time we eat here, we try something new knowing it is going to be amazing... They take Fish n Chips to a whole other level... just the presentation makes it worth... More

The food here is amazing. On our first visit we ordered fish and chips, along with a grilled Caesar salad. Don't be fooled by the name because those are no regular fish and chips. They are covered in curry batter and cooked to flaky perfection. And the chips: sweet potato with a hint of salt. Yes, the noise level at... More

Can't say enough good things about this place! Fine food, great service... Stopped on a whim, based on trip-advisor reviews. Not far from interstate, so we didn't kill a lot of time. The falafel and sweet potato fries were delish. The blueberry pork entree was AMAZING!!!!!! Highly recommend to anyone wanting something out of the ordinary.

We had a large group dine there for a birthday party. Everyone seemed to love their entrees except the folks who ordered the lobster rolls. We should have known when one of us asked to not have scallions on their lobster roll and was told "they are pre-made, so no substitutions." Everyone else seemed to love their meals and the... More

Surprisingly good food and attentive service. Only drawback is noise level sometimes too much. Large open space and view of river. Very loyal crowd for music events.

Friday night there was a private event and Saturday night I had reservations somewhere else. Because I had to at least experience something about Frontier Cafe, I decided to eat dessert there on Saturday. I sat at the bar; tables being full. The bartender was gracious and welcoming and did not make me feel weird for just ordering dessert. I... More

I have been to Frontier twice since the more recent renovations to both the menu and the venue, and enjoyed my food very much on both occasions. The last time I had the Green Curry, and was delighted to find that the staff were willing to customize my order by using broccoli in place of the peppers. This more recent... More

The cocktails were fun and sophisticated, the server was knowledgeable and the food was great. What more can I say.

I ordered the curried muscles, big mistake on my part. They were extremely small (tiny) and the curry crap I could do without. The bread that came with them was very tasty. We also ordered the fish and chips - a new experience for me wrapped in a brown paper roll, British style. Overall, it was all OK, the curried... More
