This is my "go to" place. It is small with more seating outside than in but with huge flavors. The food is always fresh and cooked to order, not done ahead of time. In the spring, enjoy deep fried fiddle heads! I often do take out and the service is great. Just a few miles from Cook's Corner, Brunswick, you... More

Gurnet has good local sea food prepared either fried or basic. The stand out dish is the fresh crab roll. The crab is hand picked and is served on a small roll. You can get lobster and fried clams all along the coast . A good crab roll Is harder to find.

We went out of our way on a ride up to Maine to seek this place out based upon the reviews we read here. Wow, what a disappointment! The lobster rolls that I see in some of the other reviewers photos do not resemble what we were served. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, around the 3:00 hour. There was... More

My wife & I try to have a long lunch at Gurnet every time we come to Maine! A wonderful hidden GEM on the side of the road as you are traveling to the end of the earth! FRESH cooked chowder of various fish, clam or seafood! They will make you a crab roll, a lobster roll or deep fry... More

The lobster rolls are packed with lobster! So much lobster we plan our vacations around being able to stop at least twice for lobster rolls and chowder. Great service, friendly staff and terrific food!

This restaurant is very small but packs a good meal. limited seating. It is not fast food as each order is prepared accordingly. 5% off for using cash or debit.

We had a quart of the seafood and lobster stew. They were both very good. I would highly recommend them.

We are local, and this is our favorite place in the area for take out seafood. The diver scallops are fantastic. The oysters are terrific. The hand picked crabmeat is wonderful. And, if none of those work for you, there's always lobster and steamers. This is Maine, after all (which also means it closes early, so it's really a lunch... More
