Fat Boy's consistently has good food for a fair price. Where else can you get two lobster rolls, fries and onion rings for a little more than $20? Be sure you bring cash because they don't accept credit cards, and watch out for the seagulls!

Ate inside on this windy day, facing a Blue Angels sticker, ATM, Tee Shirt display, and lots of fun graphics done over the last 40 years. By the way, the prices may not be from the 60's, but the values are unbelieveable. Questing the best lobster role on the Mid Coast, Fat Boy's is modest in size: regular hot dog... More

Old fashioned drive in. Turn your lights on for service and they bring your food on the little tray that sits on the window. They have a few booths for two inside, so you basically have to eat in your car which is fun I guess once in a while. Lobster rolls are small (that's why they are only $6)... More

It's ok. But $45 for burgers, fries and two shakes for three people is ridiculous. Five Guys would have been less than half as much though without the shakes.

If you're in the Maine mid-coast, nothing beats a trip to Fat Boy's drive in in Brunswick. Great Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, fries, onion-rings, their fabulous BLTs and absolutely to die for frappes bring you back to a time when food was king and nutrition was an after-thought! Wonderful service and great prices make this a "must do" summer rendevouz.

And not by Stravinsky but Fat Boy! My wife suggested we drop in for some fried clams - some great wrife, huh?! - and indeed we did. On Mother's Day no less and no kidding: these are some of the best fried clams this fried-clam-loving boy has ever had (although I've been coming here for close to 16 years!!!) as... More

Like drive in movies I love restaurants, and I always think of the 1950s when I go to a drive-in restaurant. I go to this classic drive in for a good lobster roll with a side of fries.

Really awesome drive-in atmosphere, though there is limited seating inside (with an old jukebox too). The onion rings are incredibly good, and the tuna/lobster rolls are to die for! Lots of amazing frappes as well. A Brunswick institution - if you are there in the summer Fat Boy's is a must-go!

I am a local and Fat Boy's Drive In is one of my favorite take-out places in the midcoast Maine area. Like all places, there are some items that are better than others. I do not care for their milkshakes - they are not homemade, they come out of a shake machine (or at least taste it). I think their... More

We've been going to Fat Boy since I was little. I don't know that I've EVER changed my order(a creature of habit, I know): Whopper Burger basket, and a black raspberry frappe. Why would you mess with something so perfect? My grandmother always gets the Canadian Bacon BLT and a soda. Great service, always - no matter how packed the... More
