Good dinner overall. They accommodated my request for gulf shrimp on my pasta. Their sauce is marinara which we don't usually care for (we prefer smooth sauce), but it didn't have too many chunks. The garlic knots were not hot and were tough. Our hometown is full of really great italian restaurants, so our standard is pretty high. This was... More

Wonderful dinner; attentive service and great team work. Definitely make reservations. Veal Marcella a favorite of wife and myself. Mostly seating for two but a few tables for larger group.

Great service and really good food. I had a hankering for lasagna and this seems to be the only Italian place in town. My wife (Italian) loved the lasagna. So that negates what I have to say about it. To my taste, it wasn't the traditional tomato-y sauce I'm used to, so I wasn't as impressed. Still, service and quality... More

Oh my! Why haven't we dined here before! Just parking the car behind the restaurant and walking to the door made me ask myself this question. We had to wait only a few minutes (less than five) and we were seated at a booth. It was busy but not noisy. Our server came over with menus and ice water for... More

Recommended by several people we met on our trip. They do not take reservations but do a 'call ahead' … you should do that! It is a small restaurant that fills up quickly. Known for serving 'garlic knots' … delicious. Waitress was knowledgeable about the menu. I had a seafood and linguine dish. Portions were just the right size …... More

We found the food excellent. We had four different meals and everyone loved their meals. Our waitress was excellent. We had a nice leisurely meal with good food and good service. We will go back when we are in the area. A good sign was that the placed was packed on a Monday night and their was always someone waiting.

We stopped here for lunch and we shared bruschetta, seafood chowder and a salad. I loved their bruschetta with tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and balsamic vinegar, but my husband not as much. He loved the seafood/leek chowder, the flavour was great but I had virtually no seafood nor leeks. The salad with greens, Gorgonzola, marinated vegetables and nut pesto was great!

While in Mid-coast Maine for a weekend away, dined here on the advice of family, and was pleased that we did. About 40 seats, was busy but not noisy while we were there. A lot of locals seemed to be here, that's a good sign. Was seated quickly, and waited on with a smile and good humor. Drinks came fast,... More

Very good food and reasonably priced. This is one of those restaurants that feels like home. My favorite is chicken parm, my wife says their lasagna is "to die for" and my daughter loves anything they do with pesto.

We've been here many times over the years and food has been consistently good at a very good price. Just took advantage of Brunswick's Restaurant week promotion and got appetizer, main course, dessert, salad and of course - those garlic knots - for $20.14 each. Although this was an extraordinary bargain, even on regular nights, food is reasonably priced. Each... More
