Lovely, clean space. Seats about 20. Most people had ordered takeout. But the atmosphere is actually quite cute and worth dining in. Very large, but well-organized menu. There is something on the menu for everyone. I prefer spicy. I ordered the string beans sautéed with a brown spicy sauce and shrimp. My elderly father in law had the shrimp fried... More

Located on Pleasant St., heading out of town on the right, you might just pass it by....don't miss it if you enjoy Thai food...it's terrific!! One of those "hole-in-the-wall" finds you'll talk about years down the road, it will become a topic of conversation with you foodie friends for sure. I particularly recommend the Won Ton soup, a very unique... More

Worst experience. Took a long time to get food. Was greasy and tasteless thai food. Had dinners at differwnt places many in my time and never had horrible but this place was my first. If I could give 0 stars I would. To top off everything. Found hair in food. I realize this can happen anywhere but just is the... More

The entrees are perfectly prepared with an abundance of fresh ingredients. No scrimping on things like shrimp, fresh basil leaves, RED and green peppers. All is done well right down to the food prep, of carefully making sure all ingredients are chopped evenly. The prices here are amazing, in fact I think way to low for the quality of food... More

In winter in Maine it is hard enough to find an open restaurant, let alone a good one. I had a fantastic lunch, served by a sweet competent waitress, of spring rolls and steamed dumplings. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to eat healthy at a reasonable price.

The food is fantasric, I have been here several times, dine in or take out and food is fresh and not over cooked. The ginger ice cream was some of the best I ever had.

After reading the reviews I decided to try this place for my birthday. I agree that the outside is deceiving, but don't let that deter you. We did take out and it was amazing. My only regret is not trying this place sooner!

We found Sweet Angel recommended online and decided to try it. It's in an old house, but you must go inside. It's very clean, bright, pleasant, and so worth it! We had no idea what to order so we each ordered a dish to share. I had Tom Yum soup with tofu and he ordered spicy rice with beef. There... More

We love Thai food and always have a treat at Sweet Angel. The building is not much to look at, and the dining room is basic althought the colorful lanterns hanging from the ceiling are quite beautiful. I love green curry and had that with shrimp and chicken. The hotness (medium)was just right and the eggplant in the dish made... More
