This was our first time in this restaurant, (on a Sunday visit to the Bowdoin College) we had some fresh spring rolls and their Pad Thai, and Iced tea. It was so delicious, the noodles were prepared to perfection! We enjoyed the choices we had! The menu was not extensive, but ample variety of food fusion! The ambience is very nice... More

My wife and I stopped in at the lemongrass restaurant last night for dinner. We had been to this restaurant several times and the meals ranged from great to good. We ordered a beer and a app. Before our entrees. We were the only ones in the restaurant and there were 3 servers. I order the chicken pho and my... More

I do not know what Vietnamese food should be, never had it before. What we all got was very fresh and flavorful, all the noodle plates looked similar, but people ordered different types of noodles and proteins. The service was good, the waitress was knowledgable. I suspect this is AmericanVietnamese cooking much like the Chinese food we eat here.

We walked past this little jewel of a restaurant for a few days and then decided to head there for dinner one evening. Our first time trying Vietnamese food. Wonderful! Waitstaff helped us select and explained the dishes. Each dish was light and fresh. Vietnamese coffee was awesome. Don't think you could go wrong with anything you try.

From Chicago, enroute to visit friends in Maine, we stopped in Brunswick to see the Bowdoin college museum, a little gem in itself. Walking past the Brunswick Inn we discovered Lemongrass, a small, intimate, Vietnamese restaurant on the edge of the college. The peaceful, well appointed interior was just what we needed after an afternoon of walking and looking. The... More

Lemongrass does have nice interior decorations and atmosphere but the food itself is awful. The portions are small especially for the price they charge and it's just not authentic Vietnamese food. Maybe that's what Mainers are looking for?! We've tried it out maybe 3 times; honestly because there is no competition but it's just not worth the price. I dropped... More

I am by no means an expert in Vietnamese food so I just go by what my taste buds tell me. Lemongrass is great! We started with the spring rolls with shrimp which was fresh and lively. For the mains we had the coconut peanut delight and the pho noodles stir fry - both excellent. Fried bananas with syrup topped... More

With such a great name, I had high hopes. The kitchen sent out a tough pork Lemongrass Peanut Coconut milk curry which had a good flavor but was not spicy as we had suggested and was ultimately inedible because of the tough meat. After sending it back the waitress did bring back a more tender chicken version though I was... More

I've eaten here only once, for lunch. I loved the curry dish I had. Wish the green tea was genuine, but when I requested the tea, the server brought a dish with green tea bags. I think they could make a tad more effort in that regard. It's minor, but....Service very nice and friendly. I will definitely go back and... More
