Delicious food & a beautiful spot.

So far we've tried the scallops, fried clams, lobster rolls, crab rolls & onion rings. Everything was just great. What a beautiful spot to eat and enjoy the water view.

Large roadside shack located in lovely rural spot by the river. Order typical Maine snack food, including lobster and crab roll. Sit by the river on picnic tables. My lobster roll tasted like iodine and I felt it the next day.

What a great spot this was. Right on the water with a marvelous view. The Haddock Sandwich is tremendous. The best way to eat one is take the top off the bun, break the large piece of fish in half, maybe add some more tarter, stack the second piece of fish on the first and eat it as a double... More

Every time we are in the area we make a point to stop for lunch. The small lobster rolls are plenty. Very fresh and light on the sauce. My husband had the fried onion rings which were very good. Nice view of the river as a bonus!

We were visiting friends on Deer Isle and they took us to Bagaduce Lunch. We followed their recommendations and ordered the fried haddock sandwich with homemade coleslaw and fries! The fish was fresh, flakey and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, in fact a bit too generous. The cole slaw was creamy and homemade. The fries crispy. Nothing fancy,... More

We happen upon BL one evening when we were detoured. I insisted we stop since it was 6:30, I didn't feel like cooking, it was a nice evening and we just came off a nice hike. I had read a review the year prior that mentioned this clam shack and I LOVE fried whole belly clams. Can't get them in... More

Have been coming here for years and have always loved the place. Beautiful setting. Had fried clams and onion rings. Batter was heavier on the clams than I remember and onion rings were really greasy. For what they are charging now I was very disappointed.

We had lunch there yesterday. The food was pricey but ok. Went back this morning to take some pictures (way before they opened). The owner came out screaming at us for no reason. Total jerk. Would never go back. Plenty of other places around to get seafood.

Bagaduce Lunch is a must do if you are anywhere near the peninsula. We vacation on the peninsula every summer and we always make sure to include the Bagaduce Lunch at least once during our stay. We've had quite a few of their tasty selections, but our absolute favorite meal is the large haddock plate with onion rings- more than... More

The large lobster roll is as good as any in New England. Stopped for lunch, great spot to enjoy the beautiful Maine scenery, and enjoy wonderful seafood. Fish sandwich was good, and the "small order" (huge) of french fries and onion rings were delicious as well. Look forward to a return visit to try some more of their food and... More
