2 of us stopped in for dinner tonight. A chicken dish & fish and chips were ordered. Food was average, the waitress needs to be re-trained, as she did not check with us after food was delivered to table, and did not notice (for 30 minutes) empty drink glasses - we had to ask for refills. Atmosphere was average.

When we've visited my wife's sister and her husband in rural Maine, we always seem to wind up at a new restaurant they've discovered. This trip was no exception and the destination was this neat place near Long Lake. The service was excellent, and all four of us had tasty meals. The Tavern had a family feel; however, it probably... Having guests arrive on a Monday night and needing dinner out in Naples, Me during the off-season is tricky . Many restaurants are closed, either for the season, or just for week nights. We were relieved to find that the Black Horse, in Bridgton, remains open on Monday nights. So arriving with guests and no reservation, we were seated on... More

Ended up here rather late one night. We were a party of 6. Service was first rate and the food was very good. The staff was very accommodating even though we arrived near closing time. It was obvious that they cared about the food and service and weren't just in a rush to get us out so they could go... More

Everyone else in my party was satisfied so take my review for what it is. I ordered the Ribs with baked potato, zucchini/summer squash medley and a salad. My salad never came, the waitress brought my ribs which were some reheated dried ribs with globs of sauce on the top. I was informed that there were no baked potatoes at... More

Had a really good veggie burger served with sweet potato fries. My sweetheart had the bourbon steak tips serve with mashed potatoes. Our server was sweet and funny and overall lunch was enjoyable.

The food was OK. The brie appetizer was the best thing we had. $25 dollars for prime rib that was a small portion and chewy. $18 for a chicken quesadilla which had more vegtables then chicken. $9 for a martini that didn't even fill half the martini glass. I would pass on this place.

We went to dinner here tonight with our family while on vacation. The waitress was wonderful and made our minds at ease. Since our sons have a severe peanut and tree nut allergy. She was very nice and understanding of the requests to check things for us. Thank you. We will make this restaurant a must go to every time... More

We stopped here for dinner here while on vacation. There was a little bit of a wait but not bad considering we had eight people. The service provided by our waitress was great along with the food. There was a good variety of options on the menu. All of the meals were quite large and cooked to perfection. The decor... More

The food was OK, typical burgers and fries but the inside looked kinda of 60's and tired. Service was good.
