Excellent food, friendly servers, plenty of beer on tap. The food is always freshly prepared, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I have eaten here several times and always leave satisfied. It's a great place to meet up with friends after work, or to take the family. There is a nice little outdoor seating deck overlooking a pond, and while... More

After driving what seemed like all day, we decided it was time to find a place to eat. We are from the west coast and don't know anything about anything in this area. Pulled into the Campfire Grill which has a small motel attached. Walked inside, we looked at other as if to say, "I don't know!" But we were... More

We enjoyed Campfire last year. Cheery service, bustling dining room, cool kitsch on the walls, and honest food (no culinary risks being taken, but they really seemed to have the system down). This year's visit was markedly different. The food wasn't quite as good but was more than serviceable. Our waitress was nice, when we saw her. The dining room... More

Six of us spent last Monday at the campfire grille to take advantage of the iconic special 12 ounce prime ribFor $13. This restaurant is is well attended every night and can accommodate a good sized crowd. Onion strings, fresh baked sourdough loafs, mashed sweet potatoes ,corn bread in a pot and much more. The service was very cordial and fast.

We stopped here for dinner while on vacation. They do accept reservations which was nice since we had a party of eight. The dining room is very outdated with mirrors on the walls and our table was on what appeared to be a dance floor. While the interior was a little weird the food was actually very good. They had... Good food and very friendly staff. Interior a bit dated, but clean and nice view from the dining room.

Have been coming to Bridgton for years and decided to try the Campfire grill.....my wife ordered scallops - first couple were good but then she hit a bad one. A strong ammonia taste was the tip off. Informed the waitress who said the 'owner' would cut the price of the meal by half since we had eaten 'half' - not... More

Anyone who visits the Bridgton area of Maine knows that good dining is hard to find. So after checking Tripadvisor we tried Campfire Grille. We went on Monday evening and arrived at 8:00 pm. We were handed the "Specials" menu and told they sold out of the Prime Rib at 6:00 p.m. Apparently, people in the area eat dinner starting... More

Great burgers and the joint was hopping in a good way on a long holiday weekend Saturday night. Pros: the 30+ minutes of waiting for the table went fast with super appetizer of Buffalo fried Brussel sprouts as we waited, and ample sized drinks. Superb: root beer BBQ sauce, microbrew selection, sweet potato fries, cornbread with maple butter. So-so: baked... More

At 6:15 the place was rocking. Luckily we had made reservations. The waitress arrived promptly but we needed time to review the extensive beer and cocktail list. Once we placed our drink order we waited over 15 minutes. The drinks were great but the wait was really awful. The food arrived in good time and was excellent. Good sandwiches, apps... More
