Best Lobster Roll

If your in Brewer Maine you have to eat here. The address is 1016 N Main St. Brewer Maine (207)989-7635 It looks like a hole in the wall place but the food is good. There is only a few tables so you may have to wait but it is well worth it.

We stopped here during a snow storm to sit at the window and watch the snow come down on the river. It's quaint and down home. Nothing fancy - but isn't that part of the fun? Portions were large and hot chocolate perfect!!

We stopped by for one of their famous lobster rolls, however we were set at the counter in front of the kitchen area. After sitting for long enough to take a good look around we agreed to get up and leave. The kitchen was covered in inches of grease everywhere with inches of dirt on top of that! Not sure... More

We got here pretty early cuz we know its gets crowded fast. The food was excellent but took a while to get. The server was friendly and was on the ball being the only one there.this place might be a hole in the wall but they serve great home style food..

We stopped for lunch at the Eagles Nest, not having been there in several years. The restaurant was crowded and there was only one server, who seemed unable to keep up with the rush. The food itself was quite good with large portions of seafood and french fries.

We have been eating here for the past 5 years or so and our visit one month ago will be our last, sorry to say. The food has drastically gone below the standards of the great food that they served years ago. The lobster roll is much smaller and the bun soggy, the fries (bagged not homemade) are only a... The Eagles Nest isn't a 5 star restaurant but it's food is good, the view is great ( bald eagles do fly by often ) of the lower Penobscot River. It's usually quick and good but it can get crowded at meal time because locals ( like me ) love it.

Small hole in the wall restaurant with the best lobster roll. Nothing but claw meat and there is so much of it that you need a fork to eat it all.

As in the other reviews, the place is small but the amount of meat of the lobster roll was huge! Simple fare in a "local" restaurant, but the server was friendly and the lobster roll was the best I had of the 3 LR meals I had while visiting ME and NB (CA).

The place does not look like much, but always seems to be full every time we drive by it, so today we decided to stop in for lunch. Sitting on the banks of the Penobscot River, it is nothing fancy, with limited seating and cramped quarters, but the food speaks for itself. I had the Fish&Chips and my wife had... More
