These folks provide the real deal...lobster rolls with a mammoth amount of lobster meat! In fact, one doesn't need the roll...I just want the lobster salad! This is a must-stop place. It is a bit of a hole in the wall but always crowded. The views overlook the Penobscot River, a perfect accompaniment to the food. My partner had an... More

Every year we travel from NY to Grand Lake Stream, Maine. Every year we make sure to time our lunch break at the Eagle's Nest. Their lobster rolls are the best... All meat, a little mayo and a roll that is made to look small with all the lobster salad piled high on it! If you're in Bangor this is... More

Had the greatest lobster roll in this small place overhanging the river in Brewer Maine. Chock full of Claws and Knuckles on a toasted roll. So much lobster you could hardly close the roll. Good coleslaw and fries to accompany.

Definitely the best lobster rolls we have ever had! Eagles Nest is a small diner, easy to overlook and definitely nothing fancy. Don't let that fool you. Food is amazing. We visited twice in our four day trip!

Just a diner type "hole in the wall" place; the delicious seafood is the focus! YUMMY! We ate there several times during our stay in the area.

Stopped by the Eagle's Nest on my way out of Bangor since it was recommended by a colleague as "the best lobster rolls on earth". Don't be fooled, you can easily drive right by this little place situated on the side of the road overlooking the river. The restaurant is tiny inside and while not very glamorous, the staff is... I have never stayed to dine in but I ordered many many lobster roll plates to go. I was staying in Brewer and the Eagle's Nest was on the way to launch my boat in the river. It is a no frills diner style place. The food is what this review is about. The lobster roll is PACKED with wonderful... More

BREAKFAST REVIEW: very reasonable prices. less than $5 for 2 pieces of toast, 1 egg, bacon, and homefries. i asked for an over medium egg-it was cooked perfectly. crispy bacon and toast toasted on the outside and still a bit chewy on the inside-perfect. the homefries, on the other hand, were pale and tasteless. they needed to be browned or...
