Needed a lite bite that wouldn't interfere with dinner. It was nicely done - good hand tossed thin crust. The typical self-clean pizza joint.

You can get a slice of pizza which is great when you just want a little to eat. We were there late morning so the pizza could have been warmer, but would go back again.

I love Pier 1 pizza. We always get their 20" cheese pizza - it's enough for 4-8 adults. It is HUGE. And it's under $15.00! A nice thinner crust and not a whole lot of sauce. Their cheese blend is delicious. And I love that they do not put a bunch of oregano and parsley on top (I do not... More

Great prices, crust is thin and tastes amazing. You can get hole pizzas or just by the slice. Good old fashion pizza, they way it should be.

Felt like pizza on Sunday night, went down to Pier 1 (Mel's Place isn't open yet) for a quick pepperoni. When we arrived to pick up, we were told they did not have any pepperoni... yes, no pepperoni. The gentleman working the counter was very apologetic, very good customer service, so no big deal about the 'roni... until we got... More

This experience confirms my belief that finding really good pizza in Maine is next to impossible. Guess I need to drive 8 hours south to find the great pizza. The place is very casual and has a unique ambiance. The view is of the boardwalk and surrounded by stores and restaurants. The floor has a good pitch to it. But... More

This is a good, local pizza shop located in downtown Boothbay Harbor. Sandwiches and the pizza are good, but not anything special. Good if you're in the area and are craving a slice or two.

Pizza place is great for when you don't want any more lobster. The pizza is good made fresh when you order it. Also the salads are a good value.

When you are sitting out in the sun on a crisp day in BBH, you cannot help but see the stream of people going into Pier One Pizza--and coming out with enormous slices. On this trip, we finally gave in and got a giant slice of cheese pizza while we waited to get on the whale boat. It was big... More
