Crab dip tasted mostly like cream cheese and the onion rings were almost all breading and had no flavor. The snow crab legs were soft and extremely salty. The staff was friendly however and the Kendall Jackson was cold.

This is the only place in boothbay that has a varied menu. It is very affordable with generous portions. Server was very friendly.

Right in the crowded harbor area, so you have a good view of the boats and the harbor. Excellent seafood chowder, lots of big fish chunks. Service very fast & good. Whole clams were so-so (stuck together, not as crispy as they should be). Lobster wrap was good, not great.

Kaler's provided a nice meal at the end of a long day of traveling. The portions are a good size, and the crab legs were particularly tasty. The fried shrimp were the only thing that was lacking, but that was more because I prefer my fried shrimp a bit crispier than they are served here. However, overall the meal was... More

So happy to find a place that made clam strips. All four in our party enjoyed their entrees. Food was quite good but the atmosphere had a nervous feeling to it. Waitresses were whipping past our table making for a unrelaxed atmosphere.

My wife and I read trip advisor reviews and choose Kaler's. We were seated nicely and welcomed by our waitress with a smile. In fact most of the service people I noticed were all helpful and smiling. I had scallops which were the customary price $21.95, however, I got about a dozen of them. The French fries were noting to... More

I loved the food, staff and atmosphere. I had the lobster stew and it was delicious! We will return here next time we visit Maine.

This is a friendly, casual restaurant. The food and prices are really good. You do have to walk down a fair number of stairs...we had two people with mobility problems. My only complaint would be that. Our waitress was great. Friendly, hardworking. Food was all good. Very casual. Almost "funky wharf" style which was fun. My sister-in-law said it was... More

Had a nice meal here, good service and quiet. We each had a lobster pie for the first time, they didn't skimp on the lobster. Enjoyed it a lot.
