We have been going to the Boothbay region on vacation for over 20 years and part of our tradition is to have dinner at Brown's once or twice a visit. We have NEVER been disappointed in any way. We have sat on the deck watching the boats come in for the evening. We have run in from the parking lot... More

Fish and chips $20... This is local fare, how can it possibly cost $20? Turkey dinner $20.... Really? You can buy a whole turkey for $16. Flavor was fine portions were average. Service was brusque.

We booked a night at Brown's because we had tickets to a show at the Boothbay Opera House and didn't want to drive home afterwards. Brown's was the first place we found with a vacancy and no two night minimum. Because we had a show at 7:30, we figured to eat where we were staying and hope for something ok.... More

Ate breakfast at the restaurant twice. Food was excellent, service was great, staff friendly. Most tables had a harbor view.

We went for my father's wedding, the place is beautiful. The deck is a great spot for a wedding party. If air conditioning is a must they have a back room that makes you feel like you're down below an antique ship. We had the seafood in brandy cream over pasta. Very good. Desserts yummy and the prime rib was... More

We celebrated our 43 anniversary at Brown's where we were treated to the friendliest and best service around! The maitre d brought us to the best table in the house with a wonderful water view and we enjoyed great food (turkey dinner for my groom and some of the freshest, most yummy haddock for me)! Holly, our waitress was most... More

On a night of pelting rain we ran across the street from our rental to Brown's Wharf. In an old-school hotel dining-room setting--two large carpeted rooms, marine decor, many family parties--we were warm and dry while sitting by large windows overlooking the marina; a very fancy yacht in harbor; two black labs enjoying the weather on a smaller boat. Friday... More

Friendly and attentive wait staff. Great food and atmosphere. The traditional Turkey dinner for me and the Fisherman's platter for my husband, which we both would highly recommend. A must try is the Key Lime pie
