Love going here - from the minute you walk in the staff cordial , and friendly, Lindsey was our server, a local from the area and could not have been more professional , did not forget any of our requests, and kept us updated on our meal, and even though the place was busy, the food was wonderful as usual!

What you expect in a seaside town. Good service and good food. Ok for choices for landlubbers but the highlight is the seafood.

We come here once a year or so for dinner, though you'll find us tied up at the dock more frequently. We LOVE the whole Brown's Wharf experience--------this is a family-owned, owners-working-right-here kind of place. The Browns work hard and bend over backwards to make their guest feel at home. It's a fabulous place. I give the restaurant only 3... More

We were staying in the hotel, do not like loud, noisy restaurants and do not drive after dark so the restaurant was very convenient. We had two dinners and two breakfasts here and all were excellently prepared and cheerfully served. I can reccomend the summer salad which is basically mixed greens with goat cheese and artfully presented fruit. I also... More

We were on vacation and decided we wanted a nice seafood dinner. On a last minute whim we booked a room at Browns Wharf Inn (very nice- see separate review) and the woman who did our reservation said they had the best lobsters so we also made a dinner reservation. From the parking lot, you can see the lobster tanks... More

I can't figure out why Brown's Wharf get such high ratings. The dining room is chock full of boating/sailing/shipping stuff, but is dark and somewhat dated. We didn't think the dinner choices looked great, so we opted to try breakfast one morning. We sat outside and had a nice, average breakfast, but an outstanding waitress (Jolene).

We went to the Brown's Wharf for dinner sat outside. The weather was the best part of the meal. You are about 30 feet from the water when you sit outside. The food was good. We ordered haddock which was excellent. My husband got lobster and steamers he enjoyed them both.

The Wife and I ate lunch here on Sunday August 24th. I had the best steamed clams and lobster dinner I have had in a very long time. The clams had no sand, and the lobster was sweet, and cook perfectly. We will be returning to dine here again.
