Loved the walk over the footbridge and exploring downtown . Quaint seashore, marinas, lots of shopping areas, with candy store, book stores, clothing stores , post office and winding streets, all easily within walking distance from your hotel.

I wish I had gone here first. The people were incredibly accommodating and let me check in early. The room was immaculate and all the furniture looked brand new. There was a beautiful patio over looking the harbor. The taxi driver told me the best chef in Maine worked at the restaurant. He wasn't exaggerating. I had two amazing dinners there.... More

Modest room with gorgeous harbor view. Each room had a deck with a great view of the harbor and they served a really good breakfast. The room itself...not what I like but the location is exactly what I like. So the higher score is because of location and breakfast...not the room.

After eating at several lobster docks/wharfs/shacks, we thought we'd try a more traditional restaurant setting our last night in Boothbay. A tad pricier - but not much - but a more couth experience by far. Actual tablecloths for a change. View is great. Dining room has a pretty much unobstructed view of the harbor area. If the weather is nice... More

Breakfast at the Tugboat Inn was served here - a short walk up the road. Very good choice and tasty.

We attended a wedding reception at Fisherman's Wharf Inn, and stayed there as well. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The views of the harbor were beautiful.

Food was the "free" breakfast for the Tugboat Inn, down the street. Watery eggs, nuked (?) bacon, and carbs (pastries, cereal, bagels). I availed myself of the fresh cut fruit and Yoplait or Dannon yogurts (not sure of brand.)

Visited Fisherman's Wharf Inn in September. There is outdoor seating, however, it was cool and drizzly, so we chose to eat indoors. Very pleasant experience. My elderly Mom was able to get a half-portion of a dinner, as the meal sizes are too large for her to eat. She was happy with that option. Food was very good, and we... More

This was the place you had to go to breakfast. Buffet style they had scrambled eggs, cubed fried potatoes, either ham or sausage and french toast, pancakes or blueberry pancakes. You could make waffles. They had fresh fruit, cereal and juices. Breakfast was from 7:30 to 10:00. The closer you came to 10 they started running out of food. Not... More

We decided to stay at Fisherman's Wharf Inn because we liked the location. We had a room with a fabulous view of the harbor. This is an older facility do I did not expect much beyond the basics, BUT our room was clean and spacious; the breakfast was very good; and the employees, attentive to our needs. There is a... More
