We visited on recent Monday night. We were seated promptly with the choice of outside on the deck or inside by a window. We had been in the sun all day so we chose an inside table. We waited a while for our server and asked her for the wine list. (Not sure why it wasn't presented with the menus.... More

The food was fabulous - the clam chowder was especially excellent. I had the lobster bisque and garden salad. The salad was surprisingly wonderful, with a nice mix of greens and a larger portion than I expected. Hubby had the clam chowder and fried clams, and daughter had steamers. The blueberry pie - which hubby ordered and daughter and I... More

Beautiful view! Food was good. Service was very slow, and the restaurant was not busy. Wouldn't bother to return. We'd go back to The Lobster Dock in a heartbeat!!!!

This was an awful experience. Arrived for lunch, restaurant was empty, and it still took over an hour to get a few sandwiches. When our lobster clubs arrived, the bacon and tomatoes were missing,so it was more like a triple decker toast sandwich..what lobster was on the sandwich was overdone and tough. At $21.00 a sandwich, we were robbed! The only... More

Great view, pleasant service, lousy food. We were served frozen french fries. The halibut sandwich was over cooked and not fresh fish. Everything was bland and screamed of fast food thrown together. Go to the Blue Moon instead.

Got there late and sat on the outdoor, upstairs patio. Were told that there would be mosquitoes and they weren't lying!! :) But they gave us citronella candles and we had fun swatting. The service was great, the good was great and we had a great time eating by the water and looking at the boats.

Had dinner and it was Not great. Would not go again, sorry to say. The place had tons of tables available but we still had to wait. The bartender was good, waitress not so much. Food fair at best. Lighting too bright! I felt like I had a spotlight on me!

I don't eat lobster at home in the West. I wait until I visit relatives in Maine and it had been a few years. I was looking forward to the lobster dinner on this trip. The market price for the two-lobster dinner was $28 and absolutely worth waiting for. The lobster was sweet and delicious. Although it was almost soft-shell,... More

We walked into Fisherman's Wharf Inn as an option for supper that takes a credit card and was quiet and found it to be good enough and priced fairly but definitely not one to brag about. The meals were generally good but the Fish'n'Chips was sub-standard. It wasn't that it was poorly prepared, it was poorly conceived. That's a sad... More

This motel sits on the best spot in Boothbay Harbor, in the middle of the action, but the rooms are are tired and need a major renovation. They are always full but that may not last with redoing it. .Breakfasts are included but they were better last year and the wait staff was sharper and better last year.
