Just what I expected!

Did not have a resavation ahead of time, but was able to get a room here. Best choice we made. It was right on the harbor and had a beautiful view out of our room. Rooms were older but were clean and neat, staff was very friendly and helpfull with everything. There was valet parking and they... read more

The balconies have needed repairs for several years. The wood needs to be sanded and replaced and painted. The furniture in the room needs upgrading. The breakfast buffet is lacking, some hot foods not. No omelet chef as indicated in picture. I would not mind paying for breakfast if it were served. Parking is fine. Employees helpful. Needs a facelift.

Loved the walk over the footbridge and exploring downtown . Quaint seashore, marinas, lots of shopping areas, with candy store, book stores, clothing stores , post office and winding streets, all easily within walking distance from your hotel.

I wish I had gone here first. The people were incredibly accommodating and let me check in early. The room was immaculate and all the furniture looked brand new. There was a beautiful patio over looking the harbor. The taxi driver told me the best chef in Maine worked at the restaurant. He wasn't exaggerating. I had two amazing dinners there.... More

Modest room with gorgeous harbor view. Each room had a deck with a great view of the harbor and they served a really good breakfast. The room itself...not what I like but the location is exactly what I like. So the higher score is because of location and breakfast...not the room.

After eating at several lobster docks/wharfs/shacks, we thought we'd try a more traditional restaurant setting our last night in Boothbay. A tad pricier - but not much - but a more couth experience by far. Actual tablecloths for a change. View is great. Dining room has a pretty much unobstructed view of the harbor area. If the weather is nice... More

Breakfast at the Tugboat Inn was served here - a short walk up the road. Very good choice and tasty.

We attended a wedding reception at Fisherman's Wharf Inn, and stayed there as well. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The views of the harbor were beautiful.

Food was the "free" breakfast for the Tugboat Inn, down the street. Watery eggs, nuked (?) bacon, and carbs (pastries, cereal, bagels). I availed myself of the fresh cut fruit and Yoplait or Dannon yogurts (not sure of brand.)
