Great bar staff

We really only go to get a drink. Havent eaten there yet. It usually is an older crowd, but there bartenders are great and personable. They have local cider on tap which is excellent. Would recommend for a drink.

Went for anniversary get away to Boothbay, Me. We decided to have dinner here. We had a very pleasant experience. We were sat in a dining room that over looks the water. Beautiful view. The server we had was very nice and friendly, and was very attentive, for refilling our drinks, etc. My husband ordered the baked haddock, and I... More

My husband and I had the same meal fried clams. Really, clams? Could have fooled us. Worst we ever had. We were both in the bathroom most of the night. The service was bad and it was not busy. Expensive and a total waste. Never will go back again.

Hi Congresso, I'm truly sorry for your negative experience. I wish I had been onsite to talk about this problem as this does come as a surprise. Our fried clams are one of our most popular lunch entrees and I haven't received any other complaints about them this season. If couple bad clam platters went out of our kitchen to... More

Ordered whole belly fried clams, not only did I get the worst fried clams I have ever had in the continental USA but I was ripped off, I think I got 6 or 7 clams for a whopping $25.00 You think that in Maine you would be getting decent seafood but this place is absolutely the worst.

Hi Carlos, I'm truly sorry for your negative experience. Our serving sizes and our fried clams are two of our staples here. I wish I had been onsite to talk about this problem as this does come as a surprise. I do apologize and hope the rest of your trip to Maine was memorable and enjoyable! Thank you, Ramsey More

Great Harbor View Rooms, decent comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant has good food, especially at dinner.

We were there on a Sunday evening. There were not busy. If it wasn't for the view we would have left. We had terrible service. The waitress kept apologizing. The food was nothing out of the ordinary. An elderly couple came in, ordered coffee and we overheard them say the coffee was ice cold. A couple behind us ordered an appetizer... More

Hi TKALL, I'm so sorry about your experience last Sunday. We pride ourselves on friendly service and I'm sorry that you felt mistreated. Sunday was a difficult day for us for staff, but that is no excuse for poor service. I hope you enjoyed the setting and that your trip to Boothbay Harbor was a pleasant one. If you would... More

I enjoyed a relaxing meal with a travel group. We were served a crisp, fresh salad with vinaigrette. Next came the lobster, baked potato, and corn on the cob. The waiters gave us all the tools we needed to rip into the lobster and enjoy every single bite. For dessert we all enjoyed apple crisp. The dining room was large... More

We arrived late lunchtime and the restaurant was very quiet. The staff where charming and couldn't do enough for us. The lobster was good as where the mussels. Well priced.

Travelling with a group, so didnt have free choice of the menu. The steak that I had as part of the package was delish, as was the fresh salad, veggies, and potatoes. I heard everyone saying how wonderful the blueberry pie was. Looking forward to more great dining over the next few days!

Group lunch during a recent trip was highlighted by a noticeable improvement in both service and quality from past visits. The harbor view was complemented by some great food (including an enormous lobster BLT and some great fish tacos) and excellent service. Well worth a visit
