The Blue Moon Cafe serves breakfast and lunch 7 days a week and is conveniently located on Commercial Street right on the water. Breakfast with a view.....

A quaint little friendly restaurant on the waterfront (what isn't). About what to be expected for breakfast . The menu was limited, but sufficient, and what could be nicer than breakfast on the deck on the waterfront? Almost walked by it, as the entrance is in the back....Parking in that area can... read more

This is an informal place. If you like picnic style dining, this the place for you. The food was good.

We had breakfast at the Blue Moon Cafe while vacationing in Boothbay Harbor. We had omelets, toast and coffee. My husband and I split a Denver omelet that was served with two pieces of toast and it was more than enough for both of us. Good coffee, friendly service and a great view made this a good choice for us.

Fred and Stephanie handled our wedding group take-out lunch perfectly - the deli meals were greatly appreciated by the wedding party. The next day we went back for a family lunch and had great food - lobster rolls, lobster salad, South Street steak sandwich and Fred's Bloody Mary - a fun lunch and on the water too! If we go... On a trip to Boothbay Harbor, I happened along Blue Moon Cafe on my morning run. Later when we returned en groupe to get coffee and a muffin at another establishment, we strolled past and read the menu. As we were doing so, a couple passing said "Yum," so we decided to return for lunch. SO glad we did. The... More

The Blue Moon Café is a cozy, intimate breakfast and lunch spot right in the heart of Boothbay. The dining room is small seating only a couple dozen patrons. There is some additional seating on the patio is the front and on the rear deck overlooking the harbor. Given the limited seating, it would be smart to get there early.... More

Best haddock rye sandwich I have ever eaten (and the only one!). Small cafe with limited seating overlooking the bay with delicious food and dessert!

This is actually a pretty standard breakfast joint with various egg sandwiches and a quiche or two thrown in. Good coffee. It is set right on the harbor and has a good deck seating area on plastic chairs and simple tables for weather proofing. I'd rate it somewhere between a 3 and a 4 but closer to the 3. Nice... More

We girls from Texas had breakfast here 2 mornings and it was good. Bloody Mary's were very good ( as per friend!) The omelettes, the shaggy Moon, and French toast are all good. The "real" maple syrup is really good. The staff is friendly and so nice to sit out on the deck by the boats. I didn't care for... More
