We wanted to try to find a place that we could set outside, have a great, hearty breakfast and enjoy the calm morning harbor and sunrise. This is surely the place! Great back deck overlooking the harbor. Food was quite good--it's counter order of full hot breakfast, but they bring it out to you. Staff was extremely friendly! TIP: get... More

It was pretty crowded and busy when my family went in for lunch. The man taking our order was super friendly and helpful despite the growing line behind my family. I ordered a chai along with the pesto, tomato, and mozzarella sandwich. Sadly they ran out of pesto so I had to order a different sandwhich. I ended up ordering... More

We decided to go to the Blue Moon Cafe fro lunch and we were very glad we did. I had the crab roll and it was excellent. A lot of crab and very tasty. My wife had the tuna melt and she said it was the best she has ever had. Great job and we will be back!!

We stumbled upon Blue Moon Cafe while walking in Boothbay the first night we got there. The next morning we decided to give it a try. Not really knowing what to expect we walked in and was a little surprised you were to order at a counter then have a seat. We were in town for my boyfriends 30th birthday... More

We were surprised by home many vegetarian options there were on the menu. The staff was very friendly. They bake their own muffins, pies, etc. daily. They have plenty of outdoor seating on the water and in their front garden. They have both beers on tap and in cheaper beers in cans to fit anyone's tastes. We would go back... More

Very friendly taking our order, but the most bland breakfast we've eaten in years. It took close to 30 minutes before our food was served and everything on the plate was cold. Eggs were dry had absolutely no flavor to them. Homefries looked colorful, but lacked any flavor or crispness and were cold. Generic English muffin came from a big... More

Nice little cafe with limited menu, perfect for lunch or light snack. Right on the harbor. Good service, tasty food and with beautiful view on the harbor which is bustling with activity.

We ordered a lobster roll and a rueben. Best ever rueben my husband has ever had!!.By the time I remembered to take a picture of the lobster roll to send to my sister in San Antonio I had eaten more than half of it! We went back the next day. I had another lobster roll....same thing happened! My husband tried... More

I love this place. The crisped french toast is to die for, and the owner Fred is one of the most welcoming managers I have ever met. I definitely recommend coming here for brunch on sundays. Their view from the deck is phenomenal.

I've been coming here for several years and always have had a memorable and yummy experience. My senses soar with fantastic food and coffee, salt air and warm/friendly owner's, staff and patrons! Sharing the latest journey to lighthouse or island, amazing botanical gardens or a memory here of old. It is a must do of see and sea! The food here... More
