Consistantly very good with great service.

Lobster! You can't go wrong, the Haddock lester is also one of the items I dream of. Nice breeze on the water side. Clean and friendly. Never had a bad meal here, we always make sure we get here at least once when in Boothbay Harbor every year.

If you want basic stuff, and to see where the local town fathers hang out in summer, this is the place. Food is ordinary, staff a little better. There is a reason that people come back - maybe it's value. Maybe it's a comfortable old shoe in a town of pretense without substance?

I wrote a scathing review about this particular establishment about a year ago. This is one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The chicken I ordered was burnt all the way through, and I don't remember the sides but I remember not being impressed by the food at all. I Was with my girlfriend and my parents, and... More

I regularly go up to Boothbay Harbor during the summer. I always make sure to stop here for breakfast on every trip. The service is good and the staff is extremely friendly. Definitely a must if you find yourself in Boothbay Harbor. Be sure to try their cinnamon rolls!

Cozy place, good seafood and good soups - end of season frees up tables and reminds us what is wonderful about off-season travel. Bar patrons all knew each other and enjoyed the news of the Owner's new grandchild.

We went for dinner and then breakfast the next morning. The lobster pie was amazing. It was delicious…the bread topping was difficult to cut due to thickness and might have been a little easier to cut if the dish was bigger. However, there was an abundance of lobster and the sauce was excellent! Very rich dish. The waitresses and waiter... More

We were there early October, on a nice misty Sturday. No propblem getting a seat and the views are good. The Haddock Lester was the best dish: Parmesan, Panko-crusted fish with good butter flavor, outstanding. The crab roll and crab cakes were good but not exceptional. Watchouts: They charge 18% gratuitty for parties of 5 or more. Service was slow,... More

Food is always amazing here. Had terrible service but the food came out hot and was good as always. Recommend the Lobster stew and Scallops Nester.

The night we visited, they had live music in the bar and we really enjoyed that (solo acoustic guitar player singing folksy rock). The bartender was friendly and funny. The garlic jalapeño calamari was wonderful. I also enjoyed my garden salad with tarragon vinaigrette.

I don't know if this is the best breakfast in town but, it's what we want. Every year which we go to the harbor we always get up early and eat breakfast here each day. The service is always excellent, the facility looks well maintained and clean, and the food is as good as you could expect for breakfast. Don't... More
