Last visit here in 2000 and the lobster at sunset is still the best!!! Great wine and beer too. Avoid the crab cakes and calamari and order more lobster or clams freshly boiled. Service was friendly and fast. Loved it!

Fabulous lobster rolls with butter, not the usual with mayo! A nice walk across the bay and a great view!

We ate at the Lobster Dock the recomendation of our nature cruise captain. We walked across the foot bridge and up the hill to the right. The views of the bay are spectacular from the outdoor seating and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is is a whole other story. We started with their famous crab cakes... More

There was a long line to order, but it moved quickly. Staff was helpful and courteous. We didn't experience anyone being rude at all. Food was very good. Lobster and lobster rolls were good. My son had the most amazing shrimp scampi. Lots of garlic and lemon in the sauce. One of our best meals of the trip. Chocolate chip... More

What a wonderful experience we had at the Lobster Dock while on vacation! The service was friendly and timely. The food was prepared perfectly and very tasty. The crab cakes, clam chowder, haddock sandwich were great! Sitting side by side on the dock on brightly painted red picnic tables under an umbrella overlooking the harbor. Simply stated -Wonderful!

Went for the crab cakes from Bobby Flays Throwdown. They were OK. Loved the onion rings. Lobsters are good. Would go back.

My husband and I visited Boothbay Harbor in July, 2011. As part of our visit, we had dinner at The Lobster Dock. It was lightly raining (more like a heavy mist)....we walked across the footbridge and had a pleasant walk to the restaurant. There was a bit of a wait, but only about 10 minutes. You order your food at... More

This was my second trip to the Lobster Dock. It is located across the water from the busy town area so it much quieter and the waterfront views are great. Food is always good and service fast. Had the twin lobster dinner (split it with a friend) and fried clams. Watched the lobsters being picked from the tank and cooked,... More

The food was excellent. The lobster, a "délice". But, to eat on a picnic table and what comes with it, plastic glass...wait in line to give your order...spoils the meal, but almost all the eating places in Boothbay are the same.
