Perfection!

Wonderful Fish and Chips! Would eat here again by far! The stand is decorated with laughs "Free Beer Tomorrow". One sandwich was plenty!

That's what is painted on the side of the building. Well, tomorrow never comes and besides that, they don't serve beer. What they do serve is one the largest portions of fish and chips ever. Delicious too. One of the things that really sets Bet's apart is the dill flavored tartar sauce which is outstanding. Try it. You'll be happy... More

They only serve haddock and the portions are quite large. Haddock was delicious, fries pretty greasy...but all in all, we would go back in a hearbeat

A long-standing tradition for us! As you go around the bend to the Commons, you see Bets Fish stand and you know you're on vacation! The most luscious fried haddock and crispy fries. Handmade special sauces, but I like mine with the malt vinegar! We take it to go. Every Tuesday and Friday night is Bets Fish night!

It doesn't look like much on the side of the road but the fish sandwich is so great--and one feeds a family of 4! I'm not kidding it is huge--might want to get your own though because it really is that yummy.

It had been years since I ate at Bet's. I think it was when she had a trailer on the site of the fish shack. My wife and I read the reviews and this was on the must list of places to eat. Bet was talking and laughing with some friend who had just ordered his meal. We had the... More

We had heard great things about the fresh fish but we wanted just the French fries. OMG where they wonderful. Fresh hand cut french fries and a very large order for $5.

The half order of fish and chips comes with half a pound of fresh tasting fish. The fries are handcut. Served with huge cups of either sweet tartar or dill sauce. All is delicious and at $9 it is a good price as well.

Bet's fried fish is the best. The fish is fresh, delicious and the hardest thing is to get home fast enough to eat hot. The lack of comfortable tables to eat there keeps this eatery from being the #1 in Boothbay.
