we ate there twice

We were there for two days and during that time we ate there twice. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere both times. Our food was good especially the clam chowder which I highly recommend.

Food was absolutely delicious! Good portions, Excellent preparation and OMG delicious! We passed on the continental breakfast provided by the hotel to eat here and we did not regret it. There were maybe a dozen local lobstermen eating besides us. I guess if it is good enough for locals it is good enough for anyone!

We stopped in for dinner and were looking for a good meal at a reasonable price. We entered the dining area and immediately to the left were greeted by the owner/chef working at the grill. This is a laid back location with a good waitress and somewhat casual décor. A local shop owner gave us the lead to try this... More

During our last vacation we were staying at Capt n' Fishes and the Dockside Grill is right on the property. We enjoyed 2 delicious breakfasts there. I had the breakfast sandwich both mornings along with the fried potatoes that were so yummy! My husband had eggs benedict one morning and sausage and eggs the second morning along with the fried... We stayed at Capt Fish so this was convenient. We were hoping for a nice hometown, homemade food type diner. It was on the pier so nice view. That was about all I can say was great the view. The food was so average and lacking. The hostess and waitress looked like they had just literally rolled out of bed.... More

I like to be careful when I give a review. I could have been there on an off day. My husband had the pancakes and they don't have real Maple syrup so that was a downer for him. The pancakes were huge but he thought they were bland. I had the Ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. They don't use... More

Stayed at Cap'n Fish's, this restaurant is right on the property. Great views, food just okay. They had no pancakes the day we went. My husband had ham and eggs, BIG chunk of ham. Table tops need a really good scrubbing. Services is excellent, coffee really good.

No Trip to Boothbay Harbor would be complete without a stop for Lobsters out on the waterfront deck at the Dockside Grill. Great views of the harbor and boats. Awesome location for sunset lobster dinners on the deck. Friendly and very attentive staff. They only serve breakfast daily and dinner Thursday thru Saturday night! They have a great selection of... We stumbled into this place after a long drive and a desire to satiate our lobster craving. Well, not only did they do that superbly well, we also got to enjoy a live band, and fantastic weather. The food was good for all age ranges and the atmosphere warm and inviting.
