Breakfast enjoyable

Have had many meals here over the years; the decor hasn't changed much but the new owners put in a great little bar that expands it's use from breakfast and lunch into dinner and drinks. Wish we had known the night before we would have stopped in for a drink on the deck. Breakfast had some... read more

Great location but tired decor inside! This restaurant is located right on the wharf in Boothbay Harbor and has excellent views of the channel and nearby islands. The food is average and the decor is tired but the views of sunset are spectacular!

We stayed at Cap'n Fish's Waterfront Hotel and went to the Dockside for breakfast (2 times) and for drinks in the evening. We sat on the outside over looking the Bay. It was a very relaxing place, The breakfasts were excellent. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our choices. They have different omelet choices as specials which... More

We were there for two days and during that time we ate there twice. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere both times. Our food was good especially the clam chowder which I highly recommend.

Food was absolutely delicious! Good portions, Excellent preparation and OMG delicious! We passed on the continental breakfast provided by the hotel to eat here and we did not regret it. There were maybe a dozen local lobstermen eating besides us. I guess if it is good enough for locals it is good enough for anyone!

We stopped in for dinner and were looking for a good meal at a reasonable price. We entered the dining area and immediately to the left were greeted by the owner/chef working at the grill. This is a laid back location with a good waitress and somewhat casual décor. A local shop owner gave us the lead to try this... More

During our last vacation we were staying at Capt n' Fishes and the Dockside Grill is right on the property. We enjoyed 2 delicious breakfasts there. I had the breakfast sandwich both mornings along with the fried potatoes that were so yummy! My husband had eggs benedict one morning and sausage and eggs the second morning along with the fried... We stayed at Capt Fish so this was convenient. We were hoping for a nice hometown, homemade food type diner. It was on the pier so nice view. That was about all I can say was great the view. The food was so average and lacking. The hostess and waitress looked like they had just literally rolled out of bed.... More

I like to be careful when I give a review. I could have been there on an off day. My husband had the pancakes and they don't have real Maple syrup so that was a downer for him. The pancakes were huge but he thought they were bland. I had the Ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. They don't use... More
