How hard can breakfast be when there are only a handful of people in the place? (That should have been a clue.) Our breakfast consisted of burnt toast, laced eggs, tough bacon, dry breakfast sausage and no coffee refills. All for $27 for two. Very disappointed.

If you go into a cafe for just a coffee and a muffin, would ou expect to wait more than half an hour and 2 cups of coffee before the muffin came? Neither would we, which is why I cannot possibly recommended this cafe, as no matter how hood the food may be, the service was unacceptably slow.

We stumbled on this fabulous little place, which reminded me of the classic English cafe's I grew up with. Breakfast was excellent: home made fruit/granola parfait, scones and the VA ham with cheese on bagel (one of the specials) was terrific. The atmosphere was bright and fun. Service was excellent, and the classic home made food was great.

Simple and cute and has a view of the walking bridge and down the street. Food was very good and the service spot on and friendly. Simple home cooked meals with fun specials. Today's was an Irish Breakfast with corned beef Swiss cheese and eggs.

We love this place! Nice, bright place, lots of ceiling fans (which my son loves). It's very small but comfortable. Feels like you're out of the hustle of downtown when you're here. Food is good. Wait staff (and the owner's mom) are so friendly and welcoming.

Right in the heart of town and the harbor, is this delightful place. Our server was wonderful, the eggs and coffee were delicious. I kept trying to figure out the spice on the home fries; first I thought paprika, then Old Bay, never really figured it out, but they were different and delicious.

Excellent little place for breakfast. I had nice, crusty blueberry pancakes and my spouse enjoyed an egg/sausage/cheese in a wheat wrap, which was very fluffly and fillings. No frills kind of place, clearly popular, as it was almost full at 8:30 am on a Wednesday. You can watch the people crossing over the footbridge and heading to the daily cruise/sightseeing trips.... Sweet little sandwich shop with lots of homemade offerings - the food is not particularly remarkable but it is very fresh and homemade and there is something to be said for that in Boothbay! Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service give this place an extra star!

We had lunch here on our recent stay. The food was great. The service was great. Nice sized portions made just the way you want it.
