One of the few fish shacks in this area and better than most

There are a few fish shacks left in this area: Bagaduce Lunch in Brooksville, Madelyn's on Deer Isle, and the Fish Net in Blue Hill. For quality and value, the Fish Net is the best. It's been around for decades and knows how to keep a simple menu for take-out and sit-down featuring local fish at... read more

Local seafood restaurant, in a small community town of Blue Hill, Maine. Homemade pies are wonderful, seafood is great.

Solid fried food, places to sit inside which is nice, good soft serve, if you sit inside you get some service, lobsters were good. Generally this is a run-of-the-mill fried food place.

We regularly take visiting family and friends to the Fish Net for the lobster, for the playground, the outdoor seating or indoor seating with wait staff. The food is fairly typical burgers, fries, blts, onion rings, and a reasonably priced lobster dinner. The playground and outdoor seating are perfect for energetic children. The shakes are good. Often the desserts are... More

It's an okay place for a low key dinner or if you like fried everything... lobster was ok. Had much better crab/lobster rolls in other Maine towns. Could be good for a quick bite....

Bit of a hole in the hall place. There are better places to eat. Don't buy lobster here. It's better at the Stonington Coop.

If you are in the mood for lobster, this is a must do. My husband and I enjoyed delicious steamed lobster, as well as tasty lobster rolls. The service was wonderful. The interior of the restaurant is clean but a bit run down. Better to get your food to go and enjoy a delicious lobster roll by the water.

We've been here many times, and really enjoy it. It's low key, just by the side of the road, and the tables are outdoors. It's place your order, and wait till they call your number. You can eat inside, but what's the point. It's a very tasty, low-key lobster roll, and the crab rolls are good to. I'm not sure... More

We ate inside where the signed boasted "air conditioning"...it wasnt running that day! The dining room is tiny and downright cozy. There was one server who stayed quite busy tending to those few tables - her service was quick and good. We ordered crab rolls and they were delicious. We ordered milkshakes for dessert - there was quite a nice... More

When you pay $ 15,00 plus for a lobster roll you expect something special. Well it wasn't special. Onion Rings were superb. Clam Chowder was also tasty. In a remote area this is a quick roadside stop that has a terrific following. I'd eat there again.
