Good basic food and very good service at reasonable prices

We had the beef tips and baked potato. The beef tips were moist and flavorful. They have good iced tea as well. There is a lot of variety on the menu. The bar is noisier than the restaurant side. Our server was very good.

Nice friendly staff and the burgers are excellent, Chef Randy really knows his stuff.I am addicted to the burgers and can not wait to try the other menu items someday.

Went here friday night for the fish fry and was very disappointed. The fish was frozen and so was not cooked in the middle. Everything was cold and the service was terrible. The waitress never came back to check on us and just left the check and walked away. This was a all you could eat fish fry , but... More

My wife and I went there for the first time on a friday night and the food and prices are very good. I had the small cut of prime rib and it was the best I have tasted. My wife just had a sandwich and said it was very good. The service was excellent and this is a great place... More

I have to admit, I'd just driven 400-miles to get into town and was tired and hungry. Although, I have to admit, as hungry as I was, I don't eat junk food or fast food. The restaurant was 'very New England' - and I as well - and I felt right at home. Pan-fried haddock was excellent, broccoli and rice... More

Everything is good in this restaurant, seafood, shrimp, scallops, soups, desserts. Prices are good. Nice for families.

The food here is average (burgers and fries) to good (pasta) to very good (fish). Highly varied menu, with two (sometimes three) seating areas--a sports bar with televisions at the bar and in the table area, and a dining area (in summer there is a porch also, where more air circulates). Comfortable atmosphere of its kind. Mostly locals eat here,... More

Given that restaurants are not really great in the area this is a good choice for lunch. I had a lobster salad which was really good but not the best or worst I've had.

Friday is all you can eat fried Haddock and it has been consistently good. For those who would prefer you can get haddock broiled or pan fried both of which are well prepared. There are many other menu choices as well. Also a large active bar
