We were finally able to get the opportunity to eat at the Palace Diner this weekend. After all the press and raves from friends and family we made the trip down from South Portland for brunch on 7/5/14. Seats were full and the waitress was crazy busy but she took the time to let us know take out was an... More

We sought this diner out. It was crowded & we had to wait a bit for a stool. There are no tables & chairs. The waitress was nice & handled everybody. Our food was good. I got a sandwich, and the others got breakfast. The only thing that was not too pleasing was the price. It was rather expensive &... More

We went for breakfast last weekend. It opens @ 8:00 A.M. and we were the first ones there. My son (7 years old) ordered a short stack of pancakes, we each had a donut, and I ordered the two eggs, toast and home fries. The food is very fresh and quite tasty. My son however ate 1/2 of his donut,... More

This is a spectacular old fashioned Diner. Friendly staff. Exquisite simple local food. Pure delight. Save room for pudding.

Awesomeness from cookbook shelf to elbow-worn counter top to menu. We liked that the selection was careful (read: only a few options) since it allows cooks to pay careful attention to execution. And there is something for everyone: greasy to healthy. Go!

OK, this is it...I have frittered away many hours in diners around the country. I don't know if it is the 15 stools (no tables), the twenties era structure or the amazing potatoes. What I do know is that I have now ascended to diner heaven. Not to be missed.

Great potatoes, breakfast sandwich, omelets and French Toast, solid burger, tasty pies and donuts, good coffee by Tandem Roasters. Slightly pricey for the location and genre, but worth it. Here's hoping these guys are successful enough in Biddeford to eventually expand into a larger space.

I had read about the Palace Diner owners and knew about their pedigree, so I was eager to try out the food. My husband and I went for lunch on a weekday - the place was packed and the food was delicious! I had the tuna sandwich, my husband had eggs benedict, and we ordered french fries. I'm not much... We enjoyed an "over the top" breakfast last Sunday morning-started with a warm homemade donut and a steaming cup of coffee and on to creamy and delicious scrambled eggs with Palace home fries which were the best my husband and I had enjoyed in a long time. The corned beef hash was very tasty. Fun sitting on a stool and... More

So excited to see the Palace Diner open and serving the BEST diner fare in Maine! Loved the Palace Potatoes and the Hash is fresh made with grass fed Maine beef. The breakfast was so good, my wife and I returned for Lunch a few days later and found the burgers to be the best around. Homemade pickles are sublime.... More
