Waited a long time to visit this wonderfully vintage diner, kept away by the lack of seating but this time I was lucky and there were lots of available stools. The food was just right, with homemade toasted cinnamon bread, good coffee and nice, crunchy potatoes with the eggs. I will try it again, for lunch next time, and suggest... More

The diner is small with 15 stools. Ordered the Challah bread french toast with maple syrup, and bacon as a side. The one slice of bread was thick and delicious, and light. Local bacon was good. Service was cordial and food arrived quite fast! Limited menu, and background music was local, but too loud for us.

I've been here a few times now and I have absolutely loved everything I have eaten from there. They have the best home fries I have had since the place I worked at in high school (which is closed now). The staff is great and super friendly. They do get super busy, so you may have to ask for more... More

The Palace Diner is a real throwback......yes, it is old, yes, cash only, yes, glorious oldies music in the background, yes, seating only at counter. Did we enjoy this ambiance???? Yes, yes, yes! We were greeted pleasantly and immediately offered delicious Tandem coffee. The menu was limited, but everything is prepared in a manner far surpassing "diner food" levels. I... More

After reading reviews we were disappointed in the food, not the place. The diner is clean and all help were great. After I had already ordered, I saw the chef remove hash brown potatoes from deep frying. Oh my!!!!!! My eggs were done well but the English muffin was barely toasted. I guess we were allotted just one cup of... More

This 15-stool diner is really old. I wasn't expecting it to look so worn. But upon entering, you are greeted with a big friendly hello, and the place is clean. The gentlemen serving you are laid-back guys who don't rush you. As the other reviewers mentioned, it is cash only and a limited menu. Some of the portions are huge... More

Small "Boxcar" style diner. I had high hopes after of a couple of days of seafood in the area I was looking forward to a nice greasy spoon type of place. 1st as a warning (and not effecting the rating in anyway) they are a cash only establishment. No problem since I carry cash but just a warning for those... More

Finally made it here for breakfast. Will be going back again very soon. Small, 1920s era, diner in Biddeford, ME. Only 15 stools at the counter, and I would recommend going at a non rush hour time. We went at 9:00 a.m. on a Thursday and had no trouble finding 4 seats together. Staff is very friendly, service is quick... More

Huge talent, tiny place! We love everything about Palace and have taken every out of town guest there since , as well as brunch regulars. We have never been disappointed. Challah bread French Toast, caramelized to perfection and the best corned beef hash ever. Last week's brunch special was a thin, panko-breaded fried pork chop eggs benedict. What?! Best. Breakfast.... More
