This 15-stool diner is really old. I wasn't expecting it to look so worn. But upon entering, you are greeted with a big friendly hello, and the place is clean. The gentlemen serving you are laid-back guys who don't rush you. As the other reviewers mentioned, it is cash only and a limited menu. Some of the portions are huge... More

Small "Boxcar" style diner. I had high hopes after of a couple of days of seafood in the area I was looking forward to a nice greasy spoon type of place. 1st as a warning (and not effecting the rating in anyway) they are a cash only establishment. No problem since I carry cash but just a warning for those... More

Finally made it here for breakfast. Will be going back again very soon. Small, 1920s era, diner in Biddeford, ME. Only 15 stools at the counter, and I would recommend going at a non rush hour time. We went at 9:00 a.m. on a Thursday and had no trouble finding 4 seats together. Staff is very friendly, service is quick... More

Huge talent, tiny place! We love everything about Palace and have taken every out of town guest there since , as well as brunch regulars. We have never been disappointed. Challah bread French Toast, caramelized to perfection and the best corned beef hash ever. Last week's brunch special was a thin, panko-breaded fried pork chop eggs benedict. What?! Best. Breakfast.... More

Elevated diner food in this super cute, historic diner. I enjoyed he drip Tandem Coffee (local Maine roaster) being served more than the fancy drink I had at Tandem's shop. I only wish the Palace Diner served more vegetarian friendly fare. That said, the yogurt and granola I had for brunch was very tasty.

A diamond in the rough. I've visited this little diner a handful of times and the food is delicious. A little on the pricey side (considering it's in the 'hood) but worth it. Any place that serves Coors Banquet for Sunday brunch is OK in my book! I hesitate to get the word out on this place because it is... More

I found this restaurant on a recommendation. I drove past it once, as it's easy to overlook (TINY PLACE). I was there for breakfast, which was better than I could have expected. HUGE order of French Toast; just delicious! Drive a bit and find this place! One heads-up: CASH ONLY.

I made my way to the Palace Diner on Thursday 8/7 for lunch with my sister and niece. It was "crazy good," so good, in fact, that I went back with my husband and daughter the next night to have dinner on our way to the Ogunquit Playhouse. For lunch, my niece and I both had the corned beef hash... More

The Palace Diner had been under new ownership the past two summers, and had vastly improved over the previous owner. They have since given up, and a couple of new chefs have taken it over. This latest iteration is even better. The food service is much faster than it had been, the food is still expertly made, so the overall... More
