They make their own muffins and everything else. I had a great omelette, but they've got some seriously sweet breakfast offerings such as french toast filled with marshmallow and topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Very accomodating for allergies and large groups

Barely visible behind a car wash on route one, this place was worth the search! They have standard fare combined with some creative dishes to meet the cravings of most Prompt and pleasant service, generous well cooked portions, and reasonable prices, though the surcharge for the in house baked bread was a bit over the top (but quite good!) will... We live in southern Maine and frequent Cole Road regularly, except in the summer. It is one of our favorite breakfast places and the owners are really nice people. It is on the small side, located just off of route 1, and has a small parking area. We often have to park on the street when it is busy, which... More

This place is great. Met some friends here for breakfast. The place was homey and sweet. The service was wonderful. The food delicious--especially the three berry pancakes. Will be returning!

We stopped in this cafe while we were staying right down the street. It's a little bit hidden from the main road, but is a great place. There were six of us so there was a short wait of about 15 minutes. The wait staff and owner of the place were all very hands on and made sure you had... More

This is a small privately owned cafe that the locals use all the time. It has a tremendous variety of foods, all with personal touches. The quality of the ingredients is exemplary. The setting is unique and very homey.

My husband and I were visiting Saco for 5 days. We were hoping to go to the beach but it rained the whole time. So, to make the best of our short trip we looked for what we thought would be the best places to eat in the area. We had lunch one time at the Cole Road Cafe. Both... More

The pancakes are delicious, the scramble specials are outstanding, the bacon is always perfect (crisp without being burnt) and the homemade breads/toast are excellent. Also, even when they are crowded, the food comes out without a long wait. We have been here three times in the last two weeks and every time was great.

I have been here many times with my family as it seems to be their favorite. The muffins are amazing and the specials are good, but overall quality is pretty standard with no standouts.
