Our food was simple, but good. My lobster roll was very good and not too heavily dressed. The best thing that I sampled were the fried clams. They were full bellied and lightly fried. Our waitress was nice and patient with our large party. We also had a nice view of the water from the window. I'd go back, especially... More

We've eaten at Buffleheads numerous times in the past and always enjoyed the experience. But 3 of us recently ate at Buffleheads, as always the staff was pleasant. This time unfortunately, the experience wasn't as good. 2 of us ordered fried foods which were either overcooked or the oil needed to be changed, the coating on the fried clams was... More

We really enjoyed our drive from Kennebunkport to Biddeford Pool for an cozy homestyle dinner. In the fall, if you go on a Tuesday night they have several of their entrees on a "two-fer Tuesday" special for around $22.00 for the two dinners. But even without a special, the prices are fair, atmosphere is cozy, view is beautiful, portions generous... More

We stop here every year. They have good food that's not overpriced. My husband loves the sweet potatoe fries

Buffleheads is certainly a little out-of-the-way, but well worth the journey to get to it. It's the sort of place you think of when you think of Maine -- unfancy, near the water, good service and great food. An interesting menu, lots of great choices, and a real find. The specials show that the chef is interested in finding new... More

This family style restaurant rates a medium on decor and a very good on atmosphere. Friendly and knowledgeable staff made for a pleasant dining experience early on a busy Saturday evening. The fact that one of the owners was working alongside the serving staff kept the pace brisk. Food was good; the portions healthy and flavourful. We were a party... More

This place is a bit out of the way but has a great view. We went for lunch. We had no wait. The staff was very friendly and accomodating for our 2 small children. Our waiter was extremely polite. We had the spicey seafood crepes with the side ceaser salad. The crepes were delicious and the sauce had a nice... More

Pleasant venue, lovely view, very nice and friendly staff but you`ll never recognized what you liked the last time. Very inconsistent.

Just curious to know what you found to be inconsistent as we have the same chef/owner for nineteen years. Thank you. Also curious to know if you mentioned this during your meal as we are always in the house and respond immediately to any customer dissatisfaction. Again, our thanks. More
