Great Mexican food

Love love love this place. I have been here many times and absolutely loved each time. The free chips and salsa are great, flavored margaritas are the best I've ever had, and the food is soooo delicious. Service is fast and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food.

Thurs night. 2 servers, about 15 tables plus bar. SLOW. Decent margarita but not offered any options (salt, sugar, frozen, rocks). Food was simply not good. Guacamole was full of lemon and unripened avocado. Beef fajitas were half chicken, way over cooked with large tomato slices and tons of green pepper ( half the plate).other dishes ordered not impressive either.... More

So my gals and I ordered some lunch from Los Tapatios. Oh Em Gee, this was the worst lunch we ever had! Soggy tacos, soggy chalupas, and a chimichanga that tasted like a Chef Boyardee ravioli straight out of the can! I can honestly say this was the worst Mexican food I've ever had. Never ever again!

I wanted to write another review of Los Tapatios because this restaurant continues to impress us. We have a great time each and every time that we go in. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. Food is always great and my wife who grew up in South Central LA (that's... More

If I'd written this review two years ago, it would be a 5 star review; however, this restaurant has gone downhill in both service and food quality. This place used to serve very fresh and well prepared foods, but I've been twice this year (2014) and was sorely disappointed both times. Their corn chips, at one time, were fresh and... More

This was our second visit and we're still impressed. The food is great. Not spiced too much - you have to remember that this is Maine. The flavors are clean and fresh. The chili poblano stuffed with potato and cheese and topped with salsa verde is amazing. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Love this place, I can come here by self for a great meal and a margarita, or with my whole family, my kids love the chuuros and fried ice cream. Very inexpensive. It's so good I ate here twice in the same day last week. The gentleman who runs the restaurant, Gama, makes sure everyone is happy. I make sure... More

We fancy ourselves to be Mexican food experts, having grown up and visited SoCal often. This place is just OK; we did not find the food to taste super-fresh, and the sauces seemed packaged, rather than scratch.

This is, to behonest, a quaint hole in the wall. But it has atmosphere galore and the food was delicious... from what seems like home made nacho chips, salsa, and guacamole right through to the best chile and enchiladas I have tasted in a long time. It is not tex mex like so many places in Canada, but more authentic... More

Wow! Who knew this kind of Mexican could be found in Biddeford, Maine? My daughter and I enjoyed everything. The portions are huge and everything was so fresh. Chimichangas, enchiladas, tostaguac...all excellent. My only complaint was how loud it was when the servers cleared the dishes into the rolling dish cart in the dining area. Other than that... I can't... More
