Service was fast and friendly. The food was good and came out hot. We had the crab cakes, garden salad, chicken Alfredo and lobster casserole.

I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend for a light dinner. We went around 7:15 on a Friday night after recommendation from the host of the inn we were staying. The restaurant was empty, in fact we were the only ones there. We ordered two appetizers, split a salad and dessert. Everything was fantastic. The service was friendly and the... More

Our Family of 6 (with two teens and twin 9 year olds) dined at SS Milton after a long tiring day of skiing at Sunday River. We were welcomed into a semi private dining area on the porch right next to an old style radiator--so cozy. More important, our server was very sweet and in tune with our needs offering... More

We arrived during the December holiday in 2015, an unusually quiet winter due to the lack of snow. Business mood is solemn, but the owner welcomed us in at 7 pm. We had no reservations. The restaurants was nearly empty, which was sad for a december. The service attitude is excellent. The food is similar to family cooking, but not... More

Very tasty food, well cooked. The scallops were cooked just right, and the steak was excellent and cooked exactly as ordered The restaurant was full the night we were there, but the service was good.

Our favorite place to eat in Bethel. Pleasant atmosphere, terrific service. Food is always well-prepared. Great place to be with friends or just as a couple. Stan's cream of fiddlehead soup is the best!

We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and had drove by a few times while we were in the area. Lovely old home with a quirky lay out, lots of local art work on the walls that you could also purchase that I found interesting. The wait staff was attentive, knew the menu & we able to assist with accommodating... More

Great little restaurant in Bethel town. The menu was quite extensive. We had a meat loaf and vegetables which my companion said was very tasty. I had a shell fish stew which had a beautiful broth to it. Absolutely delicious. Service was great and our waitress was very friendly. When deciding where to eat on our second night we concluded... Classic New England home converted to restaurant and antique store in lovely downtown Bethel. We stopped for lunch and were greeted by one of the owners. The lobster grilled cheese and lobster roll were Awesome and the ones to beat on our leaf peeping tour of Maine. If we're ever in Bethel again, this would be the first place that... More

Small restaurant with great food and very reasonable prices. Pork tenderloin was cooked perfectly. Scallops Nantucket were fabulous -- scallops were fresh and sweet. Clearly the best food in Bethel. Service was friendly and prompt but not rushed.
