Perfection!

I started with a limetini which was the best martini I've ever had. You are immediately welcomed to this lovely cozy spot. The crackling fire and decorations are a bonus. The homemade bread is amazing. The salmon was cooked to perfection and plenty to take home. Truly exceptional in every way.

Their reputation for the best Martinis attracted us to 22 Broad St but the delightful food is what will keep us coming back! I recommend the pepper vodka martini with calamari for starters. The lamb special was out of this world and my husband had their signature dish, lasagna he said it was better than his mothers. Our friend had... More

We were staying at the Bethel Inn, where the food was terrible and strolled across the street and found a real gem there. First-we were very welcomed -we felt like "regulars" The bartender where we started was a joy to spend time with. The meal was outstanding, sitting next to a stoked wood fire. A wine steward gave us a... More

Try the blood orange citrus wild Salmon if it's on special. I lucked out, it was! Wonderful wait staff, beautiful old house, arch. for ambience. Real fire place!

“22 Broad” definitely holds up its reputation as being one of the top restaurants in the Bethel area. It has a warm, cozy atmosphere and the food was delicious and well prepared. The upscale menu and nightly specials had a wide array of options ranging from authentic style spaghetti and meatballs to braised lamb shank. They offer a great wine... More

We arrived late on a day when we'd been up since four o'clock a.m. traveling from Florida. Although I remember dinner as being delicious and thoroughly enjoyable, I really can't remember details because I was too exhausted. Enough to say that we thoroughly enjoyed it, would go back in a flash and enjoyed the wine too.

Visited this restaurant for the first time during our ski week - we enjoyed it so much we fit in a second visit during our short week in Bethel. Our servers were outstanding, the food delicious, and with the fireplace cranking great atmosphere. The restaurant is on the small side, so reservations are handy particularly Thursday through Saturdays. The Calamari... More

Each time we visit Norway, ME our friends treat us to a new restaurant. They are still batting a thousand. Who would have expected such fine cuisine in Bethel, ME. The the ambiance was charming, a converted house with eclectic furnishings and a handsome bar. My only criticism of the environment is that the bathroom is located just off one... More

During or last visit to Sunday River for a week of skiing fun, we were happy to have dinner at 22 Broad Street. We have been to almost every restaurant in the area for dinner and we have to say you're # 1 on our list! We called ahead and were told it was busy, but we shouldn't have a... More

This was our second visit to 22 Broad, both times it has been consistently good. It is priced fairly and the service is good. The scallop special had a lovely Marsala sauce, just right. The scallops were just a little over cooked, but still delicious. The crispy eggplant dish was unique and a hit. And the wine hit the spot!
