We liked Rooster's so much we ate there twice on a recent visit. The food is high quality and well prepared, and it's a good value. We got terrific, friendly service. The first visit, we had nice big lobster rolls and cups of very good clam chowder. Sadly, on our second visit, they had run out of the whole lobsters... More

After a day of whitewater rafting in NH we stopped at Rooster's hoping for some lobster and good meals to complete the pleasant day. What we got instead was barely acceptable service (which I think was more a result of an extremely slow kitchen) and some average food. The lobster and onion rings were probably the best part of the... More

Just had a wonderful birthday lunch at your Roadhouse. Daughter and family drove over from Fryeburg, son and family drove up from South Paris and my husband and I drove over from Oquossoc. Wonderful place to catch up over some great food, including the tasty Maine shrimp. We'll be back soon.

We were traveling in Bethel and stayed at the Riverview and the hotel clerk suggested this for supper, good recommendation, we ordered the meat lover's, I think it was called something a little different, but it was fabulous, would definetly eat there again if I was in the area.

On a recent visit back to home state of Maine, I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant and what a great find! Great food, great service, great value (has to be in order to be successful in frugal Maine). Environment lead to great evening with relatives I had not seen in years. Look forward to return next time I'm... More

A very cool place with a very lively atmosphere. The staff was helpful and the food was really good. More of a bar/party upstairs, and as the name depicts, there are Rooster's everywhere.

I ate dinner here twice over a five day period. Both times the service was very good and the meals were also very good as well. Nothing fancy, but excellent food at a very reasonable price.

Recommended by Bruce and joanne of holiday isle resort Vermont. About 20 minute drive. Roosters was unique place. Was out in countryside, like visiting a rich grandma. Plenty of parking, nice patio/garden entrance, nicely maintained. Go casual or dress up. The best was the food. Just what an Illinois girl would wish for. Maine seafood. Our party of four all... The place is quite busy during winter/ski weekends; make sure you reserve a table if you decide to go there. Service is not the fastest, but in our case they made up to us for the wait not charging for desserts - without us even complaining; much appreciated. Food is good (nothing out of the ordinary, but good), with large... More
