We were staying in a local hotel and wanted to stop for sandwiches. This was a great choice. Wish we were had a kitchen as they had some frozen food options that looked great. We got a sandwich from them and pick up BBQ from the food truck in the parking lot. Sat at a picnic table on the grounds... More

Good selection of breads and generous fillings. Made to order just as you want it. Could have split with my husband--but other 1/2 was yummy later. Fun trivia question of the day--my husband won and loved the huge free cookie!

Great selection of organic produce, wines and cheeses. Sandwiches, soups and prepared meals as well. Don't forget to ask about the "trivia" question of the day! If you get it right...you get a free cookie!

Sorry we missed this place the last few years. Great premade meals. Great beer selection. Fresh bread breads, olives, solid selection of cheeses and crackers. Loads of other stuff!

This stop was a great find for homemade cookies and snacks as well as wines and microbrews. They make pies too! We'll be back!

Sometimes run out of pies later in the day on weekends. Home made crusts & fillings. Our favorite was the crumb topping.

We waited over 20 minutes for two sandwiches while others came and left. with their orders. Finally found our sitting on the counter and had been for a while. Not a great experience

I was in town for my 30th high school reunion, we came up from MD to spend two weeks traveling in Maine. Since I have a gluten allergy, I am always on the hunt for gluten free items when I am traveling. While the overall selection of products is a lot smaller than what I am used to in the... More

If we had been cooking in our efficiency, we would have found most of what we needed here. Instead I got maple syrup and other local treats to bring home as gifts. They catered the wedding we were attending in Newry and did a top notch job! Really delicious food and very professional.

Whenever I visit Maine, I am sure to stop at the Good food Store in Bethel for a bite to eat. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but they have a nice selection of natural, organic, and local foods inside. The cafe prepares tasty soups (seasonally), salads, and sandwiches. They even have several gluten-free options. There is no... More
