Good, inexpensive diner. It's really popular, so plan on going early or be prepared to wait your turn. It's worth it!
My first visit this morning and super dissapointed. It wasnt the really long wait, that was to be expected on school vacation week, no problem. The problem started when I mentioned to the chef/owner please be sure to take care to not get meat in my dish, as Im a vegetarian, with which he responded "You should live on the... More
It's a diner. It's a very good diner. I like lunch there the best. They really separate themselves from all others with their lunches. Soups and chowders are excellent as is the chili. I love grape nut custard for desert, theirs hits all the right notes. Their "specials board" rivals the full menu at many diners. There is plenty to... More
Great food with great service makes this place wonderful experience. Enjoyed stopping over at this place! Staff were very pleasant, attentive, and caring about their patrons.

High marks for the perfectly poached eggs, the housemade... More
We always look forward to breakfast here each year when we visit friends who live in town. Their french toast is the very best as are their egg dishes. Service is excellent, staff is warm and friendly. Our waiter this time was the oldest son of the owner. He did a great job and was so complimentary toward his family.... More
Great food, great service...a must stop anytime you are near bethel Maine! Had the best cheesesteak followed by the absolute best coconut cream pie I've ever had! Everything including the bread is homemade and fresh!

We all had various different types of eggs with bacon and toast - all yummy. Homefries were pretty good too. I can't complain and thought it was a typical diner with typical food. If you're in the... They bake their own bread and the raisin one is delicious. I had an omelet sandwish with veggies and it was really good and so... More
