Stop in for Quaint Atmosphere, Good Food, and Friendly Service

This is a small place but the inside decor make you feel at home. The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly. The food was good with generous portions. We stopped in later in the evening so we were the only ones in the dining area and only one other patron was in the pub/bar area.

We really felt as though we had walked into an English pub, with cozy seating and a really nice ambiance. Great drinks menu, including a nice selection of English/Irish/Scottish beers and other fine beverages. The pub style food (I had the cottage pie -- delicious chunks of beef topped with home-made mashed potatoes) was fabulous, and my friend enjoyed the... More

The food and beer here is great. It's a lot of delicious comfort food with a twist. Try the buffalo chicken mac and cheese or the chicken naanwich with garlic sauce. Fred and Lulu are great. Highly recommend.

We entered this English Pub with the greatest expectations. It looks so charming on the inside, The owner greeted us and took us to the table. My spouse needs a gluten free meal which we told the owner, He showed his ignorance on this matter by confusing lactos intolerance with wheat intolerance. He made some other suggestions that my spouse... More

Heaping portions of home cooked goodness. The place truly gives off an English pub feel. I went with my boyfriends parents who came from England 20 years ago and they loved it. It's unique and cute with a nice menu. I highly recommend the Jolly Drayman

The waitress was incredibly friendly, and the service was very quick and thorough. The food was so good! I had the chicken pasty, and my boyfriend had the cottage pie - they were both fantastic. Cozy, eclectic atmosphere, and delicious, homey pub food. We couldn't have picked a better spot to stop for dinner! We'll definitely be back!

Decently curated beer selection for Bethel. Always a pleasant surprise to see Arrogant B*stard on tap. The Drayman steak has been cooked perfectly every time I order it and it's really good. Also have had the fish and chips and all the curry options. I highly recommend the Tikka Masala with lamb. Nice english pub atmosphere and always experienced great... More

We come up here a lot and have been meaning to try this place. It was nice but not the best meal,I've had in this area. The chicken pasty was heavy on the peas and not so much the chicken and potatoes. The fish and chips were good.

Well, what can I say? We decided to stay here on our trip around New England as we were looking for smaller inns with character and good food. We were not disappointed! Excellent food - one of the best sausages and mash I've had - superb company and just a very good night!

Went to the Drayman while on a ski trip to Sunday River. I was with a group of nine friends which led to a variety of foods and drinks being ordered. Those who ordered a variety of craft beers had only good things to say. I had a hard cider which was excellent. Those in my group who enjoyed various... More
