Great place to eat... Ok place to stay

Stayed one night at the Inn. It is old and very dated. This is not a " luxury inn" by any means. However the bed and bath were clean ( don't look too closely at the baseboards)!! We had dinner in the pub and it was awesome!! Best spring rolls ever!!! We throughly enjoyed sitting in the pub and... read more

We walked over to the Pub from our hotel for a drink and an appetizer. We walked in and the bar is directly on your right. It's a small quaint bar with two sides. The small room we were in had a few small tables. The greeting we got was some what cold...Bartender asked if we were looking for bar... More

From the moment you cross the threshold you are transported into an English pub. A very warm and inviting greeting form owner Fred behind the bar. We dined at the bar so not to miss the lively pub banter. A solid beer list in tap and bottle and a man behind the tap who takes pride in every pour. Difficult... More

Stopped here for dinner and a drink. Pretty good beer selection, but I went with my default of Guinness. The decor is reminiscent of a genuine English pub from about thirty years ago; nothing wrong with that, it brought back good memories. The service was very friendly and attentive and we ordered a Tofu Tikka Masalla for my wife and... More

We really felt as though we had walked into an English pub, with cozy seating and a really nice ambiance. Great drinks menu, including a nice selection of English/Irish/Scottish beers and other fine beverages. The pub style food (I had the cottage pie -- delicious chunks of beef topped with home-made mashed potatoes) was fabulous, and my friend enjoyed the... More

The food and beer here is great. It's a lot of delicious comfort food with a twist. Try the buffalo chicken mac and cheese or the chicken naanwich with garlic sauce. Fred and Lulu are great. Highly recommend.

We entered this English Pub with the greatest expectations. It looks so charming on the inside, The owner greeted us and took us to the table. My spouse needs a gluten free meal which we told the owner, He showed his ignorance on this matter by confusing lactos intolerance with wheat intolerance. He made some other suggestions that my spouse... More

This is a small place but the inside decor make you feel at home. The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly. The food was good with generous portions. We stopped in later in the evening so we were the only ones in the dining area and only one other patron was in the pub/bar area.

Heaping portions of home cooked goodness. The place truly gives off an English pub feel. I went with my boyfriends parents who came from England 20 years ago and they loved it. It's unique and cute with a nice menu. I highly recommend the Jolly Drayman

The waitress was incredibly friendly, and the service was very quick and thorough. The food was so good! I had the chicken pasty, and my boyfriend had the cottage pie - they were both fantastic. Cozy, eclectic atmosphere, and delicious, homey pub food. We couldn't have picked a better spot to stop for dinner! We'll definitely be back!
