We returned to the Drayman on our 2012 skiing holiday and as previously the food was excellent and the atmosphere lovely. I still say that a "pair of wellies" is too much food for one human being. Carry on the good work!

A very cool place to have a pint, and enjoy a decent meal. The bar area is small, yet very cozy. Bench seating around the outside, with small pub chairs at the tables. The food was good. My son had the mac and cheese, which was very good and very rich. I had the seafood chowder, which was stocked with...

This was our second visit to the Jolly Drayman while on a ski trip to Sunday River. We ate here on a week night. It was busy but we did not have to wait. The restaurant (and pub) are pretty small and it fills up quickly. We were there for $5 burger night. Burgers cost a bit more if you...

GReat atmosphere. Fun menu. THe shepard's pie and hamburger are by far the best!
We've had an on mountain condo since 1986 and usually spend our evenings in. Last Saturday we decided to eat out and had a good experience at The Jolly Drayman at a previous time. As others have noted be sure to make a reservation during ski season weekends. We arrived at 5:30 and were promptly seated. The place was full...

Grittys Bitter Ale was very good. The meal was Ok but we were hoping for more after reading the reviews. We ordered the Indian dishes, next time we will try something else. If its just my wife and I our first choice would be 22 Broad St.. If its all our family then we would return here.
Decided to get away from Sunday River to try something different, based on Trip Advisor reviews (and the mention of Indian food) we opted for the Jolly Drayman. My daughter's steak naanwich was good but she personally found it overly-cheesy; my husband's jumbo shrimp Tikka Masala was very good; my choice of the lamb chops was good but the lamb...

Our meal at Jolly Drayman after a day of skiing was very enjoyable. The food was good, the service was quick, and the restaurant was charming, with a warm, comfortable, traditional pub ambience. The menu is an interesting combination of pub grub and Indian fare; our party tried both, and everything was very good. The only negative was that our...

When you get tired of bar food, this is the place to go. The pub makes you feel like your back in Manchester! Food it is amazing and they have a very nice children's menu.
Always a great meal in a town where the barn like skiers food, ie palatable but not much more, is the norm. We have had many good meals at the Jolly Draman and recommend it to anyone who wants good food, a nice noise level, and good service. Reservations are a must on ski weekends. the menu selection extends from...
