We go to Darby's at least 5 times a year: reservations not needed but can be accommodated. Staff is friendly, food is reliably tasty, good portion size. Local produce and fish used often. Atmosphere casual.

Darby's is a good place to relax and enjoy your food. I like the wait staff and the menu is very good. It is the kind of place that you can rely on for being consistent with their menu items. I cannot find anything negative about this restaurant and pray they don't mess up now that I've given them a... More

Darby's is my "go to" choice whenever I find myself in Belfast. Have had both lunch and dinner there a number of times and have never been disappointed. The portions are large (often requiring a box for leftovers), food is tasty and value is excellent. Surprisingly, their Asian inspired dishes are very good. I especially love their Budda Bowl......large steamy... More

I live out of town and came in to check up with friends who live in Belfast. Loved the atmosphere of Darby's. Very relaxed and didn't feel rushed at any point. Service was on point and friendly. I had the pad tai meal which was excellent. My friend's food looked just as good. They also serve homemade rolls and cornbread... More

A bit crowded but that indicates the food is excellent and well prepared! By all means, stop here and enjoy!

I've been to this restaurant a half dozen times when I visit my friend on the midcoast. It is always a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly, the food is good and the atmosphere is relaxed. We started with a shared appetizer of jarlsberg cheese melt with crostini. Though the melt was a bit greasy, it was tasty and plentiful.... More

We stop by Darby's when we're in Maine. The food is earthy and warm. We have yet to have a meal that wasn't delicious. The dishes (including an awesome avocado guacamole) are made in house and from scratch. The space is warm and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Cozy tavern and yummy food! It was rainy that evening and the atmosphere was homey and enjoyable. We are glad we stopped as our hotel said they were great and they were right!

Darby's definitely has that pub feel but it's menu is not what I expected. They had some pub foods but also had some variety which made us feel that we weren't eating the same old thing. Enjoyed our meals and were very well prepared with large portions. Definitely worth a stop.

Darby's is an excellent choice for lunch. Haddock sandwich is very good, fish&chips good, quesadilla good, service good. French fries are unique (a bit soggy but accompanied by special vinegar) and the pickle is crisp. No pretense served here.
