Nice, local place to eat. Wide variety of options on the menu. Have been the Darbys various times and never had a bad meal.

I've reviewed Darby's once before. My wife and I were back for our Anniversary this year and had another wonderful meal. Great atmosphere, reasonable prices, friendly staff and excellent food.

Every time I go, it amazes me how good this Pub is. I would actually call it an upscale restaurant. I had some of the best mussels I have ever eaten. It was a packed house but they attended to the customers very well. I am sure I will go back again before I leave Belfast.

This is on one of the main streets in downtown Belfast. It is a long established restaurant that serves good food in a nice comfortable environment. Probably the only bad thing about it is that it is not "on the water" as many others in this part of Maine. I had a seafood pasta dish that was well prepared. Service... More

I stopped in for dinner because it looked interesting from the outside and there were other diners in at least one of the rooms (there are many). The interior is great with warm colors a nice arched doorway between two of the rooms and as someone else noted a tin ceiling. The net effect is cozy and comfy. The draft... More

After reading several favorable reviews of this restaurant we stopped there with friends and it was okay but nothing special. The service left much to be desired. Very slow..The explanation was that they were changing shifts. ?? Two of us ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwiches but our waitress came back to tell us they were all out so we... More

I was reccomended Darbys at the barbers shop while my boyfriend was getting his hair cut. The older gentleman said it was a good place to eat. The dining area is a little dated but the food was great. It was a bit of a wait for the food but the service was good. Would definitely return in the future.

The original breakfast choices are great and all the food is good. Do wish that the coffee was a bit better, but don't let that hold you back from going. We love coming here and will continue!

Awful food. Had to send mine back and could not find the courage to order a replacement meal since I tasted my friends food which was pretty bad as well. I ordered a fried haddock sandwich. It's called "Southern Fried" so I asked about that. I was told that it was breaded in 'Panko bread crumbs'. When it came, it... More
