Maine lobster that close to the ocean must be fresh and tasty. Five stars for the lobster. Young's is a picnic-type adventure. We did not know this and missed having a beer or side of potato salad to accompany our bargain lobster/clam bake feast. It came with two steamed lobsters, clams, shrimp, lots and lots of steamed mussels and two... More

This is one of my favorite places for lobster rolls. Be sure to ask for it hot and buttered. The rolls have a very generous serving of lobster meat and are always fresh and flavorful. The clam cowder was a little watery but full of big chunks of clam and potato. There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor... More

Yet another city, yet another lobster roll! In spite of being right by the water and a lobster pound for sure AND recommended by lobstergal.com we were disappointed. It was okay, but not as tasty as the others we had on this trip- a bit bland and too much mayo for our tastes.

Very classy for a lobster pound - order inside, pickup, carry to outside picnic tables. Friendly, entertaining servers. BYOB. Indoor flush. Open 365 days. Also have scallops, haddock, etc.

Bring your own beer, and feast on some of the best lobster you have ever had. It was off the road but worth the trip. Casual, picnic tables inside and out. You can order a bucket like we did which is 2 lobsters, 12 clams and musscles, some oysters and 4 shrimp for about $40 but next time we will... More

We called the order in and it was ready and packed when we got there. The lobster and steamers were great! Young's is the best!

we tried several ones along the coast and so far this one is the best. fast kind service , and amazing roll, filled very generously with lobster meat . pity that the chips were crisps and not real fries and that....we could not have a glass of wine ....

This is a great place where you can bring your own food and pick the lobster you want. They will crack the lobster if you aren't into the fuss. Picnic tables all around and a nice view of the harbor. Price is worth the trip there. Would definitely go back.

We wanted to eat Maine lobster on the Maine coast and we wanted it to be a local place. We weren't sure what the heck was going on when we first arrived so we stepped back and watched the locals. Its a warehouse, on the water, with lots of fresh lobster and reminded us of the "soup nazi" episode of... More
