Was in the area for a lecture and decided to have a nice sitdown dinner. After driving the entire section from Belfast to Searsport, the name Nautilus and the lovely location were enough to pull me in. I was quite pleasantly surprised and had to complement the kitchen. My salmon was perfectly cooked, as were the green beans (the vegetable... More

We've been going to the Belfast/Searsport area for almost three decades and we've seen restaurants come and go. We hope that Nautilus will be around for a long time. The food, decor, and service are first rate. I had one of the specials, Trout with a scallop and bacon stuffing in a sage cream sauce that was outstanding. My wife... More

Living in the south you develop a knowledge of good fried green tomatoes. They did 2 better paired it with lobster which is a no brainer in Maine however the kicker is the cream lemoncello sauce. WOW!

I walked in and the decor was far better than anywhere else I've been in Belfast. My sirloin was cooked perfectly and the mashed butternut squash was delicious. Also, can I say best cornbread ever! Definitely worth a setup for dinner.

The food was enjoyable. We've been going to Maine for many years as a family and have been going to Nautilus for the past three. The Ron's Portobello Melt in 2012 and 2013 was delicious (it was in a sandwich form), but this past year was changed to a open pita form and we were not so thrilled.

Sat at the bar. Real friendly unpretentious bar tender. We asked a lot of questions about the food, area, etc. She was informative and patient. Turns out she was the owner! I got the seafood pot pie. Best meal I had on a 3 week trip in new England. Loaded with fresh scallops, shrimp and haddock. No veggies, just a... More

My husband and I ate dinner here while on vacation. We decided to go for an early dinner so it wasn't that busy but if you are waiting till later in the afternoon/evening or on the weekend it would probably be best to call for reservations. The food was very fresh and tasty, the service was top-notch, and the prices... More

We had read review on TripAdvisor and decided that this was a great place for dinner. We were very happy we did. This place has a spectacular view of the bay and was packed! It isn't very big but it is well laid out. The four of us had seafood for dinner. Each entree was fresh and well prepared -... More

A little on the pricier side, but well worth it. From the lobster mac'n cheese to the seafood dinner, oh I could just go on and on. I don't see how anyone could come away disappointed. The food and all the staff were great. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Belfast. There is also a great view... More
