I spent some time at the co-op. The selection of organic products was excellent and the prices were on point. I wasn't overly impressed with the produce section; at the time I visited it was pretty picked over and tired. The selection of sandwiches and baked goods was pretty good. I found several products with a better variety selection than... More

I don't recall the name of the place we had breakfast but we should have gone to the Co-Op!!! Smells heavenly when you walk in and the serve breakfast. Amazing variety of bulk grains and other foods including spices. Bought some unusual rice and some peas and well as their anniversary coffee beans. Well organized clean and friendly employees.

The Belfast Coop has organic fruits and veggies, many are locally grown to support farming in the area. They also support fair trade with their coffee beans and chocolates that they sell. Beef, pork, seafood and chicken are grass fed, free range, etc., so the price is higher but much healthier and more flavorful. Although I am not vegan, vegetarian... More

A friend and I met for lunch. The food was promptly prepared, organic, and very tasty. You can't go wrong here. I frequent the place and not only is the food of great quality but the atmosphere is casual and friendly

Whether you're at the Coop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the cafe with the best of Belfasr so it's or buying the ingredients of those meals to prepare at home, the Coop is the place ro see and be seen. There's a card game in the cafe, people meeting about a local initiative, art on the walls, information about... More

While the atmosphere is all granola, the coop and its cafe is one of the lifebloods of Belfast, with a commitment to quality products and good taste. A favorite eatery and meeting place, the coop is a hopping place, especially on Tuesdays when its senior day, and all the foreign language conversation groups also meet. The cafe is open daily,... This is not the usual place to purchase lunch. Many of the choices are very eclectic and unusual but very good. There is an area where there are tables and chairs to eat the items. Many of the items are organic or home grown.

Stopped for lunch on our way along the Maine coast after reading the Trip Advisor review. I had an apple, cheese and spinach panini with mustard and my husband had a roast beef and cheese panini (minus the spinach.) Both were excellent! We sat in the very casual area near the deli counter and relaxed while the sandwiches were being... More

Tried this place for lunch twice while on a business trip. The first time I ordered a chicken Caesar salad which was just very average. Nothing great or even that good about it. 2nd day I tried the pizza (which looked delicious). It was just fine. Others in the group weren't thrilled with theirs either and some of the orders...
