I wasn't really crazy about the dishes I ordered off the menu. I am from Ellsworth where we have the best rated restaurant, Tai Sana. There was no comparison. I will not go back.

We stumbled upon the restaurant for lunch, in the rain without reading TA. Unfortunately the negative reviewers are correct. For example, their fresh rolls, which were quite pricey were only wraps of vegetables and did not contain the usual shrimp. Even though there was only one other party of four in the restaurant, service was extremely slow. It took us... More

Chicken in both dishes was so nasty tasting we couldn't eat it. Veggie were mostly tiny slices green & red peppers. Drunken noodle had no color or... More

My husband and I went to Thai Bhurapar last evening expecting a lovely atmosphere with delicious food. There were only two other occupied tables and the staff seemed to be chatting at another table. I ordered a ginger ale to begin and it arrived flat and so full of ice that there was no taste of ginger at all. I... More

You'll not be disappointed with the fresh excellence of this small Thai restaurant right up the street from the waterfront. We sat outside on the deck for a spectacular view while dining. Loved the food which clearly is prepared when ordered. (don't expect "take out" fast service). It's worth the wait as each dish arrives beautifully presented and quite possibly... More

A nice family run Thai restaurant near the harbor in Belfast. Our dinner was well prepared and reasonably priced. Lobster items on special were over-priced, but all else was in line.

I have been to Thai Bhurapar approximately 10 ten times and have always enjoyed an excellent meal. From the wonderful texture and flavor of their orange chicken to their fresh steamed dumplings. Since most of their business is done as takeout, the service is always personal and exceedingly friendly.

Every time I come here I am treated like a queen! Their food is delicious and consistent - I know what to expect when I order something. The servers/owners are so kind and funny. Once I came in on Valentine's Day and my server gave me a box of chocolates and a big hug. I am a regular so they... More

This is the third visit in 2 years...the first was the best tho not great, the second consisted of waiting an hour outside for the "be back shortly" note on the door to be lifted (no one returned), and this time, the service was poor and the food mediocre at best. How is it that we were the only people... More

We had a late dinner here and were happy enough with the food and service. The Thai food was just good enough-- nothing special but adequate for two hungry adults. We enjoy Thai food and have noticed that a lot of it has become pretty mediocre. Our meal was alright, but the service was desultory and not particularly friendly. The... More
