I'd like to rate this 1 star to keep the crowds away but can't in good conscience. Special omelet cooked to perfection, bottomless good coffee, pleasant venue. The place was full 5 minutes after opening! They could add more tables but perhaps the kitchen can't handle it.

We love this place-- fresh, imaginative, tasty vegetarian food. The only problem is getting a seat, especially in the summer. Most maddening are the persons who, having gotten a seat, unfurl their newspapers and take their time reading them, despite the very visible groups of folks waiting for a place. That's why, when we head out to Chase's, we always... More

DoChase's is a "must do" if you are in Belfast. In addition to gorgeous breakfasts and the freshest produce you will ever buy, the restaurant provides excellent vegetarian meals. They are only open for dinner on Fridays (breakfast and lunch other days) and we were lucky enough to get a reservation. The vegetable tart was excellent and came with the... More

Maybe you have an idea of what a vegetarian restaurant is about but until you've gone to Chase's Daily and tasted their unique dishes - you have no idea! I had a wonderful Caesar salad sandwich on fresh baked sour dough bread with the best tomatoes ever. While you're there be sure to check out the incredible produce and flowers... More

This restaurant is a fun place to spend time and the food is great and healthy. The produce they sell is from their farm and used in their recipes. We often recommend this place to people who ask about a good restaurant in the Down East area of Maine. Get there early.........

We wandered Belfast while waiting. The sourdough pancakes were tasty with maple syrup. Coffee was welcome and flavorful too. The other dishes were fine according to the friends with us.

Came here with four adults and two kids and everyone loved their food. We had to wait a long time for a table and then a bit longer for food, but it was excellent. Had the blueberry pancakes -- wild Maine blueberries, real maple syrup and they made me a two-pancake plate when I asked instead of the menu's three-pancake... More

Came here based on reviews and word of mouth. After reading reviews we were in for the long haul. Got here at 9:30 left after noon. We were told the correct wait time. We just sat around enjoying family till our food came. It was very good - worth the long wait? Staff were pleasant and food was delicious. Just... More

Wonderful food! Very busy place with lots of locals eating there - always a good sign. Be prepared to wait because everyone starts arriving as soon as they open. Willing to make accommodations - I asked for a sandwich as a salad and they were happy to oblige even though they were busy.

Don't miss this enchanting small town! Stay at The Alden Inn where Larry & Rose serve "Gourmet Magazine" type breakfasts (all with incredible starters) ! And eat lunch at Chase's Daily!
