I love this place. Every time I go I am always pleased. Today I had the cucumber vichyssoise and salmon sandwich. The salmon was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The homemade chips served on the side were sinfully delicious. The vichyssoise was rich and tasty. I have had their burgers, various soups, lamb, fish, salads and all... More

We were heading up route 1 after a shopping trip to Brunswick and were delighted that we hit Bath at lunch time. Solo Bistro was waiting with their attentive staff and talented cook. It is not Le Bernadin but no place is other than Le Bernadin. Our lunch was delightful, and it was great to renew our acquaintance with the... More

Unknowingly, we arrived five minutes before lunch was set to close. Never did they make us feel like we were a burden. One of the best bacon, cheddar, hamburgers I've ever had. The bacon was so good, my husband took his off the burger and ate it on its own. The burger was cooked perfectly and was very juicy. The... More

Solo Bistro is that lovely little restaurant in an appealing town that has a nice menu, nice wines, good cooking and fair prices. The one you frequently think you've found but then are disappointed. Not this time. This isn't a life changing culinary experience, but is a very good meal. The menu is well constructed with plenty of choice but... More

Interior a blend of urban chic and 70‘s decor. Food and service not memorable. More 70’s hooked rugs could cut down on the ambient noise perhaps. Environment felt a bit staged and cold.

I had lunch here the other day. For $14, they have a three course fixed lunch. The first course was a cumin carrot soup. The soup was very smooth and velvety but the cumin drizzle overpowered the dish. The vegetable sandwich was delicious, as was the cake for dessert. would have given an excellent rating except for the heavy hand... More

We took an out-of-town guest last night to Solo. I had called earlier in the day to confirm that they would have a lobster dish of some kind, for this was our guest's first visit to Bath. Solo came through beautifully with a "lazy lobster" dish that we all three had--a pair of crepes filled with native asparagus, local goat... More

The ambiance is attractive and the wine list good. We had the seafood chowder and the mussels with fries. Both were good but not particularly memorable. The service was OK but not friendly Prices are reasonable.
