We initially had dinner at Solo Bistro in October of 2013 and raved about it thereafter. In April 2014 we had the opportunity to dine at Solo Bistro on a Friday night and Saturday night. The food, the service, the wine selection was just as good if not better than last time (I did not think that was possible). My... More

I have loved Solo Bistro for diner. They recently opened for brunch. I went in a group of 10 and we all loved our meals! The drinks are a bit pricey but the food was reasonably priced for the quality.

After a so-so visit a few years ago, we returned for an early Saturday dinner. We much preferred to sit in the main room where one enters. Previously, we had been seated in the room to the right, which we found cramped and noisy. I enjoyed the three-course dinner featuring delicious spicy carrot soup and savory Hake main course. Dessert... More

My husband and I were staying overnight in Bath Maine and decided to try " Solo " From the moment we walked in, the experience never lost it's rating. There are three separate dining rooms and we were able with reservations to sit in the room with live jazz, a vocalist/key board player & a saxophone. We ordered champagne &... More

We think Solo Bistro is the best in Bath and Brunswick. The food is fresh and beautifully prepared. The staff are knowledgable and friendly. It is always our first choice when dining in Bath or Brunswick, Maine.

Been here several times and always enjoyed the food. Excellent service. Wine list is good, but a bit lacking. Pricey for Bath.

2 of us dined on a chilly November Friday night, sat in the front room by the window with a great view of the cooks at work in the open kitchen. All the staff members were very friendly, our waitress in particular was attentive and knowledgeable about the various food and drink options. Started with cocktails - Whiskey Splash for... More

Lunches at some great restaurants are a disappointing "step down" from the dinners. Not so, my recent mid-day experience at the Solo Bistro. Like my terrific dinner with friends the week before, I enjoyed an exceptional, affordable glass of wine, food that pampered my palate, and poised, unobstrusive servers who clearly love their work and their customers. I indulged myself... More

My daughter and I had a lovely lunch but found the server lacking. We went back two days later with my granddaughter, a main ingredient was left off the salad making it less than average. Our server had been aloof but efficient. This week I brought two co-workers there for lunch, (their first visit) they had the chowder of the... More
