Phenomenal

Fantastic service and food. Had half a dozen local oysters, salmon tartar, and grilled octopus, all of which were phenomenal. Prices reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

Solo Bistro is in downtown Bath, which is very picturesque. It is very small, so I can't imagine going without a reservation. We ate out on the sidewalk, it was quiet, cool breeze, attentive wait staff. They use a lot of local food items and the menu must change often, if not daily. Highly recommend!!

Our Inn keeper highly recommended the Bistro and after dining we agreed. It's in the middle of the old part of Bath , very eclectic in style and design but it works !! Service is only surpassed by the food. Excellent preparation and serving style. Menu is small but very diverse. Great Wine list ! Of note you can not... More

Food here is just delicious albeit a tad pricey but the quality is definitely on target. Had a grilled salmon sandwich with fish cooked perfectly. Love it when salmon melts in your mouth. My sister had the fish tacos and raved about them. We both had strawberry shortcake for dessert which was fabulous. One of my favorite restaurants in Maine.

This is one of the best restaurants we've tried in Maine. We are foodies from the SF Bay Area and always try to seek out great local spots.. Fresh, innovative food, excellent wine list, and most of all, excellent service.. We couldn't decide what to have because so many things looked good so we had dinner there two nights in... More

Solo Bistro provided us with a good selection of healthy and traditional choices for their Sunday brunch. I thoroughly enjoyed the goat cheese and shrimp salad. The shrimp were true Gulf jumbos and not previously frozen. My wife and friends had traditional omelettes with everyone cleaning their plates. The staff was pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed sitting at a table... More

We had a late summer dinner with friends at Solo Bistro, Our meals were excellent. The house salad was a nice mix of bitter greens with sweetened pecans. My scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. A shared dessert of creme brulee was very good, and the accompanying shortbread cookie had an unusual (and tasty) flavor with the addition of rosemary... More

A great go to bistro...A nice Scandavian setting...I thought I was in an IKE...I ordered the Broiled Hake over chef's mashed with fiddlehead...this meal was delicious...great wine choices and decent beer selection...it was hard to choose from menu, so many options...Server was friendly and helpful...a little pricey but it's a place worth visiting

My favorite go to bistro. Scandavian setting, great wine choices, and a hard to choose from menu. My favorite is the hanger steak, don't miss it. Best hamburger in the area best restaurant in the MidCoast.
