Visiting with locally based friends, had dinner together. Reasonable prices, good food & plentiful. Nice place - actually surprised at how spacious inside & caliber of food. Will be back here again for future meals for sure. Genuine local flavor atmosphere.

This is a good place to go for breakfast. The prices are cheap and the food nothing spectacular but good. I often go with friends. Just a typical down home cooked breakfast.

We have been to the Galley several times when visiting the Bath area in the summer. We Love Maine and the little "hole in the wall" restaurants are often the best!! The food is very good, and the waitresses are very friendly. In response to the comments about the waitresses being "more presentable", that' is completely irrelevant! They are clean and neat... More

We got there late.. they stopped serving at 7pm. We arrived at 6:30 and got seated right away. I had the stuffed haddock, mashed potatoes and squash. My wife had crab cakes, mashed potatoes and beets. They were supposed to give her 3 crab cakes... but only had 2 left. The food was hot and good. Atmosphere....not really. Service..... maybe... More

This is your basic neighborhood family restaurant. It's fresh and cheap and everyone there are regulars. You won't find anyplace cheaper. Huge variety, fresh seafood and comfort food specials.

Great food, super service, very good prices and a great value. As another reviewer called it, A great Mom and Pop type place.

Bath is my hometown, and this is my hometown breakfast spot. The food is pretty typical greasyspoon, but the prices are very good and you don't have to wait around for it.

It's one of those places that the locals love, and the tourists feel lucky to find. It's got a homey feel with its humble appearance and like-grandma-made-it food. The prices were reasonable and the service was great.

We stumbled on this place when we looked for restaurants in our GPS, after escaping from a tourist-trap restaurant. We were amazed. Everything was so tasty and the prices were very reasonable. The place was almost full, yet service was pretty good. I had a fabulous stuffed haddock (they used Ritz crackers, butter, and parsley) with turnips, carrots, and mashed... More
