Touted as the best pizza in Maine, the Cabin is certainly above the usual. I would say it may be the best in Midcoast Maine, not including Portland. I just cannot stop eating cabin pizza at one slice, it is very good, thin crispy crust, and a nice variety of toppings. The atmosphere is nautical with bench type seating and... More

What looked like a tiny little restaurant proved to have three areas for eating - it just went on and on. The entry was dim and felt a tad late night nightclubish with tall private booths, but we ended up eating on a converted sunporch in the bright but cool spring afternoon. Very friendly waitstaff who schooled us in the... More

Excellent pizza from a well-established local favorite. We had a group of 16 or so swimmers and parents eat here recently and it was delicious. We ordered at least 10 pizzas and they came out remarkably fast and the staff was friendly and helpful when ordering and when bringing the mountain of pizzas to our tables. They're used to groups... I moved to Maine with my husband seven years ago and so far I haven't been able to find pizza here that's any good. Sorry but that's true. I'm from NY so there's nothing better than a tasty thin crust NY pizza. That being said, this is the best pizza I've had in Maine and we'll be back! I'm so... More

Excellent pizza and cheesesteaks across the street from BIW. Cash only, but there's an ATM in the lobby. Wood paneled rooms, booths and picnic tables. This the best choice north of Portland.

I would say this pizza was good to very good, depending on how you like your crust (which is the eternal battle of regional pizza, I know). For me, it was a little thick and chewy, but without the crisp outer-layer you might expect in a chewy crust. That said, none of the pizza went to waste. Lots of character... More

We've been going to "the Cabin" for almost 40 years. We started our bicycle shop down the road the same year that Paul opened the Cabin. Yes, a little dark inside, and yes, perhaps the servers consider this just a stepping stone on the way to their Pulitzer or Nobel prize, but it's the real deal. Delicious pizza and sandwiches,... There's a lot, and I mean A LOT to be said for nailing simplicity. These guys have done it. I think this is the best pizza I've had in the U.S. and probably Canada. It's good, really good, and probably tastes even better because of the people and the atmosphere and the feel good juices coming from a business that... More

I've been eating at the Cabin for forty years, since their inception. While they do not, as they claim, offer the best pizza in Maine, it's mighty good, and it's hands-down the best in Bath. Their Italian sandwiches do, however, vie for that position: you won't find another steak, egg, cheese, garlic and olive sandwich in the state that comes... More
